City have been rather fortunate in terms of the big decisions. Their second goal was from a questionable free kick and then West Ham were denied an equaliser by a the gifting of a free kick for a foul that even Mr Magoo could see was not a foul.

However I can forgive City all of that purely because they played the Smiths over the tannoy at half time (and because it is against the caravan club).

Out of curiosity what was the song they played? Location aside, I cant really think of many Smiths songs that are fit for a football match

Oh, and I feel bad for Franco and Clarkie given WHU's current predicament, but looking at that squad, they strike me as prime relegation fodder

I know West Ham were poor, especially at the back, but have to say Man City impressed me.

They could have had 5 or 6 easy and that was without Ireland, Adebayor and Robinho. Think they'll be pushing all the way this season and I hope they finish just behind us in 2nd place - above Utd and the Dippers!
