talking to a mate about football an hour ago , somehow we got on to David Speedie , my mate says Speedie scored a hat trick for Chelsea i cant recall i remember him with Dixon and we signed him from a small club but dont remember any hat tricks anyone confirm nothing at stake apart from told you so

i was at that final and was gutted that dixon wasnt playing.i remember speedie scoring a hat trick and also im sure we was 5-1 in front but let them get back to 5-4,

One of my earliest games, I remember the header he scored he seemed to rise above the cross bar to head the ball down - pure magic.

remember it well, I still have a replica match ball from that game, it's never been kicked, but the white leather is now tanned and it's hard than chopper Harris with a flick knife.
