First Yossi signs for us, even though I would be staggered if we were prepared to meet the asking price or even consider buying Torres.

If it was you and Roman came calling would you ensure you did everything to persuade everyone around you that it was in the best interests to take his money ?

Just a thought.

I still don't buy into this lifelong CHelsea fan claim. If any one of us was totally minted and needing money about as much as a porn star needs syphillus would we accept a postion at Liverpool?

Season ticket holder yes, diehard Chelsea fan for life? I don't think so.

Think it's too much of a serious situation to even contemplate bringing in his personal interests into his business matters, if they did sell him to us he would be made the scapegoat by the scousers. When it would be Torres signing the dotted line....

The tabloids have gone a bit Torres/Chelsea crazy today though so something must be up.

Though I tend to agree Loz, it's clear he was born and bred on the doorstep of SW6, guess he was kid when we won the league in 1955, what I do know is that when he was Chairman of the British Horseracing Board he was a Chelsea season ticket holder and not a johnny come lately or one of those that disappeared in the mid 70's and got the retro kits out in 2005!

If thats the case then why was he hired there? And why is he being allowed to handle the transfer of players to his club? Are hicks and gillet trying to get shot at by dippers by making the most backwards decisions posible?

I cant swallow the idea of Chelsea signing some oft-injured hermaphrodite scouse prince and, in the process, handing them more money than the club has spent on transfers in the last three seasons.

I dont want to accept it. I f**king hate the idea, I dont care how many goals he might score for us.
