This is not an attack towards you but I loved the way Bremen dropped Sampdoria from CL after Cassano's obvious fake injury. He could have helped his team in the extra time but he decided to play some seconds off the clock, gladly the ref saw it and gave a whopping 5 mins of injury time and Bremen equalized. Cassano is Italy's Craig Bellamy. Good player but an complete idiot.

Chelsea continue to monitor Chiellini contract talks

Chelsea Football Club are keeping a close eye on Giorgio Chiellini.

Although Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed reports he is looking for a new defender, he continues to be linked with finding a replacement for Ricardo Carvalho.

The Portuguese international has left Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid, and it has been claimed that Bayern Munich star Martin Demichelis is being targeted.

However, the Argentine is not believed to be an option Ancelotti is keen on, as the Italian coach would much prefer his compatriot Chiellini.

The Azzurri star is currently locked in contract talks with his current club Juventus, with reports in Italy claiming he wants the Bianconeri to DOUBLE his wage.

Should talks collapse the Serie A club may be forced to listen to offers for the 26-year-old, who would command a fee in the region of £15million

Again i dont see this happening but with more being said about this deal you never know

With both Ivan and Bruma injured at the moment, our centre backs are a bit threadbare, even though they should be back in a matter of days. I would welcome another centre back as an emergency reserve, but one of Chiellini's stature, not right now.
