Scooby Blue Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Don't know if this has already been discussed but Barclays facebook fan page have announced the finding of a poll to name an all time Premier League XI. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/18092010/58/premier-league-fans-choose-time-xi.html The fact they boast that a whole 260,000 voted worldwide tickles me. Add another couple of zero's and I might take it a little more seriously.
Barry Bridges Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 LoL Evra....... Shame how Lamps, only midfielder on the EPL top 10 all time goals list, cant get into any "all time EPL squad" that Ive ever seen.
ace Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 LoL Evra....... Shame how Lamps, only midfielder on the EPL top 10 all time goals list, cant get into any "all time EPL squad" that Ive ever seen. Or even a PFA Squad of the Season XI for that matter.
Scooby Blue Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 Always seems to be the case as far as Frank is concerned. But of course all his goals are either from the spot or deflected I'm yet to hear an excuse for his incredible number of assists. Evra at left back is indeed laughable. Oh and Gerrard the greatest midfielder in Prem history? Hahahahaha. Atleast JT got in despite the disgust of a few in the comments section below
bluegraham Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 no gianfanco zola enough said. look at the team again every player on it has won the premiership except one. guess who.
Virosh Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 (edited) Evra getting there ahead of Ashley is a joke, but entirely down to the fact that our man is one of football's most unpopular. Gerrard ahead of Lampard - well, I can only hope it was by the smallest of margins. Even so, what is Scholes doing there ahead of Viera, Keane and Lampard? I can only put that down to his recent form and extensive media praise (deserved, but deserved for this season). Edited September 21, 2010 by Virosh
