July 1, 201113 yr Went to that game only a short trip from Welwyn Garden City more Chelsea fans than Luton even some in the Oak Road
July 2, 201113 yr Author Great stuff as usual, CB. Never seen that before. Cheers mate, yeah i'm the same never seen that game before, love old footage like that with our away support ect.
July 2, 201113 yr this was new years day i was 13,in the programme it said trains to luton from st pancras £1.50 so me and my mate went from kilburn and got the train, when we got to pay in it was packed and everyone was pissed me and my mate were getting badly crushed when this geezer shouts oi stop and let the boys through so everyone made a path to the turnstiles for us,proper chelsea it's something i'll never forget, anway we pay £1.50 and the away end is packed all i could see was the crossbar and a bit of netting of the goal were behind there's loads of ice on the terraces, there's about 500 chelsea in the middle of there end, when fillery scores chelsea are the first team to score in the 1980's,anway after the game i meet a mate who tells me i could have got a train from cricklewood lane for 75p and there was a boys entrance which also cost 75p,so i payed twice the amount to get there twice the amount to get in and had a sh*t view but so what we are the famous cfc, this was also 2 weeks after we completly took over loftus road but that's another story
July 3, 201113 yr I went to this one, very early start from Carshalton for an mid morning kick off as I remember, hard to believe now how we used to take over whole grounds, great support for a poor side.

October 17, 201212 yr I went to this game remember it well, we went to a burger bar had a meal by the time we finished the place was packed to the 8 of us decided to walk out (although I had nothing) and the Turk bloke was calling us back. We went in the Oak Road the Luton end and we saw the Turk owner walk around the pitch at the open end looking for Us I suppose. The police where also looking for Chelsea fans in the oak road and when they looked up at us we started reading the programme. Anyway the Luton belle of the match came onto the pitch before the game came to the Oak Rd waved a scarf and the end sings out "you dirty Luton scrubber" then all hell brakes lose with Luton fans climbing out the end into the 2 outside sections as the Oak Road was divided into 3 sections, we where all in the middle section. Next day at work a West Ham fan says saw your mob in the Oak Rd when they scored. The game ended 3-3 Luton had a clear goal dissallowed for offside we had a clear penalty turned down. In 1975-56 season we all ran from the open end to the Oak Road and the Police took us back around the pitch.
October 17, 201212 yr 75/76 was the one I remember. I went on my own on a Green Line bus from twickenham to Luton. We were getting beaten when the pitch invasion started. I think this was the one where Mickey Droy gave one of our fans a slap as he ran past him. Whilst it was going off, I took the opportunity to chat a girl up who was with a couple of her mates. She wasn't interested as 'my fella's on the pitch' but I had thought it was worth a punt. Green Line took forever to get home and I think we well beaten. Never liked Luton.
