Long throw competition

Featured Replies

Who was there when we played s...s at the Bridge and if i recall this correctly , it was our IanHutchinson in the longest throw in europe comp against s...s Martin chivers...Was it 3 throws each, and of course a hutch win

I was but can't remember who we were playing that day. You say Spurs but I don't remember seeing us play them as a kid but went to other matches against West Ham or Arsenal ?

I was at the long throw scenario...It was hutch that beat chivers....I cant remember but 3 throws each sounds like its correct..Cant remember the oppo..The spurs suggestion sounds right if it was hutch v chivers .If i remember anything itmight have been (as you look from the shed) they took the throws from the right hand side of the pitch

We played Newport County at home in the 70s in one of the cup competitions, they had a long throw specialist who was on par with Hutch, his name and the year escape me? Think we won 4-2?

My dad has told me about a long throw competition before many times before, I'll ask him if he remembers who it was against.
