Hi my son just brought FM11 went to play the game for the first time and well its just to hard it needs a lot of effort and time what I want to know is there a easy way to play this game? or is there a different FM game for the PC which a lot easier and wont need as much time

You can allocate a lot of the jobs to your assistant manager, such as contract details, formation etc. I cant remember exactly how to do it but if you have the instructions they will tell you.

There is an option under my club called 'managing team' or smililar, assign everything apart from match tactics to assistant will save you loads of time.

A question of my own - about 10 matches into my season, I went into a match, screen stuck on 'preparing for match, please wait', ctrl+alt+del out of it, found CPU is running 100% , 5 minutes later I was able to get back to the game where it was half time, so the game was obviously playing in the back ground. I tried to start second half, got the exact same problem. It used to play games with CPU usage around 25-30, even better than FM 2010. I restarted my PC a few times, still failed to play the game. I'm thinking auto play this game and try the next game. I'm on Windows 7. Cheers to anyone who will comment

Try changing it to 2D match engine instead of 3D. It sounds to me like your graphics card isn't good enough (or not enough spare RAM for your graphics card to access if you have a shared memory graphics card) and your CPU is having to take all the strain. CPUs are not very efficient at the sort of floating point algorithms used by graphics cards so generally don't do too well.

That's what I reckon, anyway.

just play it, i came back to fm last year after having not played it since cm 02 and it is very daunting at first. but just persist with it and follow the tutorial banners that appear every now and again.
