Cesc Fabregas
Lampard and Luiz passed the ball forwards (and pretty much exclusively forwards). Matic and Fabregas passed the ball intelligently.

They'll claim it as another trophy, I don't want that.

Lukaku to Everton
I disagree, he didn't have the space to do anything like that until he made it and by then the angle made it impossible. He took the right option, just didn't execute it.

Lukaku to Everton
There was no way he should have shot from that angle... Would have been ridiculous to attempt that.

Mrs Brown's Boys
I think it's the worst thing that has ever been made and regard it as an insult to the intelligence of a nation.

Lukaku to Everton
Whoah whoah whoah! I don't think anyone has said anything like that here, in fact I believe I categorically stated that he should be in the squad...

Lukaku to Everton
I'm not basing it on the international games, but it's just easier to see my concerns there. Playing to his strengths doesn't mean changing the way we play, it's not like playing to his strengths requires re signing Mata and playing Tiki Taka next season. It just means we have to pick the opposition he plays against. If we're against a side that will park the bus and he'll have no space, he's less likely to break through than Costa (despite his physical advantages to do so). The ball will bounce of him too much, but then if on the other hand we play against a side with a high line or where he'll have a chance to run at defenders he'll score like he did for Everton.

Lukaku to Everton
I think his attitude just looks poor in these games. No issues when he's playing and scoring, right? We'll have to just play to his strengths, which is using his pace and power, driving at or beyond defenders, which is what to be honest we wanted Torres to be doing when we signed him. I definitely want him in the squad, but I think these games have shown his weaknesses more than his strengths that we were all praising last season.

Lukaku to Everton
Interestingly they were raising the same concerns I have about his game. These are things that can and will improve of course, but it's a clear example that he can't be our only option. If it's him and Costa rotating we'll be set I feel. Costa is better at holding up the ball and being in the box, so he'll likely be used in the games where we'll have less space and Lukaku much like Torres likes it in behind and running at defenses. A similar rotation to Eto'o and Torres last season, but with better players and a better midfield in Matic and Fabregas. I think we'll do very well.

Toni Kroos
Read his name... I think you can be confident that his tongue may have been somewhat close to his cheek.

Toni Kroos
A World Cup or a 'f**k No'?
-
Toni Kroos
In a word. No. In two words. f**k no. Anyway, this is about as likely as me getting Emily Ratajkowski to perform a striptease for me while I find the winning lottery ticket while Kate Upton gives me a back massage. Is it me or does silly season get a bit more silly during the world cup?

Random Rumours
Yep, completely agree with that. There's no point in change for the sake of change, it won't help us.

That was awful. My least favourite episode.

Cesc Fabregas
People seem to not get that he just posts what's in the next day's papers in Italy. He doesn't make things up. He just tweets what the papers are making up.

I personally like that side. Especially the signing of Equestrian Olympic medallist Michelle Coutois to play in goal.
