Feeling Effects of the Summer

I think that the main part of Chelsea's downfall this season, as many would think it is the injuries that we have sustained e.g.Terry, Cech, Carlo, Joe Cole, Carvalho.

But i think it could trace back to the summer where we simply made the wrong signings, we should have not got rid of the second defender in the world, William Gallas, as i would rather see Bridger at left back than Ashley Cole. Also Ballack playing all the time will cost us dear, he is just not interested in the game, and is shutting Frank out of the game. Furthermore, we should have kept Robert Huth , seeing as we let Gallas go, we could have done with him on the weekend against Crouch and Kuyt! Shevchenko was a bad move, we should have got someone younger like a David Villa or even Samuel Etoo.

We need desperately to sort this out in January, but we have missed the boat on a player that could have aided our defensive problems, Lucas Neill, who can play well all across the back four!Surprised to see that we have not brought back Glen Johnson yet!

We gotta make defensive signings in the transfer window, if not, we are NOT going to win the title!!

i mentioned to a mate of mine that i think we bought ballack and sheva at the wrong time. i.e. after a world cup in which both carried injuries.
