Rangers vs Annan Athletic (SFL 3rd) 18/12/2012 KO 19:45 GMT

Featured Replies

After Saturday's results Rangers have now increased their lead to three points, and still with two games in hand, second place Elgin having drawn at Queens Park, .

Tuesday night sees Rangers take on Annan Athletic, who have lost their last four games and are without an away win all season. Still let's not take anything for granted.

Hopefully.

I don't imagine there'll be a stream for this game?

Some good players in that side. I've rated Templeton and Wallace for some time now. Great to see McCulloch playing so well again, and I like the look of Hutton, Black, Shiels, Little & Kyle.

Come on you Gers!!!

Always streams for Rangers games due to RTV showing them live for overseas viewers I think.

Not missed a game I could not attend yet on the stream sites.

Comfortable victory marred somewhat when Lee Wallace was mysteriously sent off almost on the hour, having conceded a penalty for the referee only knows what. Fortunately Neil Alexander saved the penalty, which actually spurred 10 man Rangers into upping the pace to the extent that it was Annan who looked like the team down to 10 men.

Within minutes of the penalty save, Andrew Little put Rangers 2-0 up, and on 70 minutes David Templeton scored a cracker, his second of the night, to put Rangers 3-0 up. Penalty incident aside, the biggest mystery of the night was that it took Rangers 28 minutes to take the lead.

Final score: Rangers 3-0 Annan.

Will post match report and analysis in a bit, much to discuss on the game last night including entertainment, police violence, poor standard of officials and much more.

Police violence is something that's received little or no publicity. All I'll say is some things never change. As for the referee, I think the match commentator had it right when he said the ref was overwhelmed by the occasion. Only he knows why he send off Lee Wallace. He looked badly out of his depth, whether because of inexperience, lack of ability or both.

It's no surprise that Rangers are to appeal the decision, which should be overturned, no doubt about it.
