Di Matteo gets the Sunderland job, Sunderland come to the Bridge, the fans get the chance to show Rafa just what they think of his supposed "improvements" since he took over from Robbie.

Oh my. What a day that would be.

But wait, I can top that ..

We know how important trophies on the CV are to Rafa, after all, he never shuts up about his past "achievements".

We also get the inkling he might want a trophy on his CV rather more than he wants to achieve top four.

So here's what we do, should we make it to a final this season ..

We sack him the day before.

It's brilliant.

Rafa would just use this an addition to his lenghty laundry list of excuses.

It would go something like this:

I have won every major trophy and proven my tactical prowness in running a top squad but unfortunately a bloke named Davey Baby instilled some bizarre thought into the board that they should sack me the night before the final. It is thanks to Davey Baby that I am not a FA Cup winner. But that's OK, most Chelsea supporters like me! I have the letters from them to prove it. And as far as I am concerned I do have an FA Cup win and will always take that with me. Now would you like to see the winelist?

Would love RDM to have the Sunderland job in time for our game against them next week. The reception he would get would be something else.

Having said that, Di Canio would get a better reception than the fat one.

Davey Babey, I think we might be able to forgive the board if they did that to the fat one. It would be absolutely priceless, but we should get him tickets next to Bernstein and Prince William. Imagine the look he has when none of the players acknowledge him for their achievements.
