Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a membership deadline for this season or if I can renew it after the first few games have been played? Reason I am asking is because I am currently on holiday and I do not know my membership ID from memory so won't be able to renew it until next weekend. Cheers

His stats are 20 goals and 17 assists in 79 CL, EL and Swiss league appearances for Basel, which is pretty good for a 21 year old winger. Just a shame about the timing really...

This season is my first season with a membership and I'm trying to buy tickets for my dad and a friend for the Basel game, but it says that I need to add them into my friends and family list, however, they are not members. Is there any way to buy tickets for them without them being members? I have a feeling that it may just be because members cannot buy two extra tickets for this game until tomorrow but I'm not sure how to work the menus really, because I can't even figure out how to get one for myself. More simply, can I buy tickets for non-members? Thanks in advance.

I'm actually really happy with this window to be honest, think some of our signings have been superb. Schurrle - Young, provides very good cover on the wing and has so much potential. Great signing. Van Ginkel - Like Schurrle very young and has bags of potential, could go on to be a world class DM if we play our cards right. Schwarzer - In my opinion a genius signing, a quality goalkeeper who is completely happy to sit on the bench for a year and play when needed. Great bit of business on a free as well. Willian - Provides depth, already very good and has the potential to be the dogs bollocks. Eto'o - Very good track record and on a free transfer. Only here for a year so no big wages or anything and could do a great job for us. I would've been happier if we'd signed a quality CDM and ST but for now I'm very satisfied.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from. On paper imo he's definitely our best striker, 17 league goals is a very good return especially when you see the midfield that was supplying him. I think Eto'o can do a job for us and hopefully he'll surprise us all, but if Eto'o gets injured or something we're back to where we were last season. Ba has been diabolical since he came here and I think people who still think Torres can lead our line are kidding themselves. You are right though, it'll be very interesting to see how Lukaku does at a slightly bigger club where defences will be more wary of him, and next season if he comes back and scores 30 goals for us i'll be the first person to admit I was wrong.

Although Ozil is a cracking signing it'll really annoy me if Arsenal fans try to cover the cracks with it. In my opinion Arsenal have spent £42.5 million where they don't really need to strengthen compared to other positions. In my opinion they could still do with a GK, a CB and another ST. Mertesacker and Koscielny are ok, Vermaelen is awful. Giroud again is decent, but they could definitely improve.

The more I think about this deal the more I think it makes sense. Let's think about it, we had 4 strikers and the only one we could really shift that late on in the window was Lukaku on loan. Ba's deal fell through and Torres is very, very hard to sell. Lukaku probably wanted more game time as he was aware that he wouldn't get much with 3 other strikers at the club, and to be honest game time is exactly what he needs. He is only 20 after all. To be honest I just can't see this being Jose's decision. Bear in mind that Eto'o has worked with Jose before so who knows, maybe we'll be kissing the ground he walks on by the end of the season. He could score 30 goals for all we know.

One hour to go and still no confirmation of Ozil signing for Arsenal. Was always feeling confident that it wouldn't happen but there's still 64 minutes for me to be proved wrong I suppose...
