Uefa are selling tickets to Joe Public for the super cup, their not cheap!!
Think i'd rather wait for CFC to sell them otherwise we could end up along the side with loads of suits.

I went last season on the club trip, the day cost me about £350 all in. Had a good day wandering around et but the football was a massive let down, big no show. What added insult to injury was our flight home being delayed to allow the players to leave before us, fair to say they were greeted with almost total silence as they fast tracked it through security. Will I go to Prague of course I will - up the Chels

Tried to buy them through the Uefa site last night but they didnt seem to be happy with my Visa debit card details? Might be a blessing in disguise anyway

Not 100% sure on that ultra - the website did say MasterCard was the only form of payment.

"Q16: How do I pay for my UEFA Super Cup tickets?

A16: Payment can be done by credit card only (MasterCard, Diners Club, JCB and Visa accepted). 

The card must be valid until at least August 2013. If you will be allocated tickets, your credit 

card will automatically be charged."

Haha, Well we managed to find a few places that worked out 99p a pint, Most places £2 roughly.

Jose summed it up perfectly, he didn't do anything to get us there, Pep didn't do anything to get Bayern there, a bit of an inconvenience for all parties concerned.

 

I shan't be upset if we loose, as long as it's not an Atleticoesque drubbing. But, I know it won't be.

I was there 10 yrs ago on a stag do & its one of the best trips i've done, cheap beer, loads of bars ect lap dancers, actually f@ck the match lol!

Slovakia in 97 for the Bratislavia game we were getting charged 30p a pint & the bar manager apoligised for putting the prices up!

They do accept VISA, you have to click "other cards" I applied for two just in case I can't get them through the club, you never know how many tickets UEFA decide to give us. If it is a poxy allocation like Amsterdam might be well glad of a ticket even amongst the suits.

Ticket selling details for our UEFA Super Cup match against Bayern Munich in Prague have been announced.

The match takes place on Friday 30 August, kick-off 7.45pm UK time. The venue is Prague's Eden Stadium.

Ticket allocation and prices

We have received 4,944 tickets priced at £114, £79 and £44. We have also received some restricted view tickets priced at £40 and £22. Tickets will be sold using the loyalty points from 2012/13.

Tickets will be sold as follows:

Monday 8 July until 5pm: Supporters from the 2012/13 UEFA away scheme who have renewed their season ticket or membership can purchase one ticket. Supporters on the away scheme will be allocated 500 temporary loyalty points. This will enable away scheme members to log in and purchase any priced ticket subject to availability. The temporary points have now been added to supporters' accounts and they will be removed on Monday 8 July at 5pm.

For this match, scheme holders who have renewed their place on the UEFA away scheme for the 2013/14 season and do not purchase a ticket will not be removed from the scheme. However scheme members who purchase a ticket but do not collect their ticket will be removed from the scheme.

Tuesday 9 July: Tickets will be sold to season ticket holders on a loyalty-point basis. The number of loyalty points required will be announced no later than 6pm on Monday 8 July.

Wednesday 10 July ONLINE ONLY 7am - 12.30pm: Tickets will be sold to season ticket holders on a loyalty-point basis. The number of loyalty points required will be announced no later than 6pm on Tuesday 9th July.

Wednesday 10 July ONLINE ONLY 1pm - 5pm: Tickets will be sold to season ticket holders on a loyalty-point basis. The number of loyalty points required will be announced no later than 6pm on Tuesday 9 July.

Thursday 11 July ONLINE ONLY 7am - 12.30pm: Tickets will be sold to season ticket holders on a loyalty-point basis. The number of loyalty points required will be announced no later than 6pm on Wednesday 10 July.

Thursday 11 July ONLINE ONLY 1pm - 5pm: Tickets will be sold to season ticket holders on a loyalty-point basis. The number of loyalty points required will be announced no later than 6pm on Wednesday 10 July.

Friday 12th July ONLINE ONLY until 5pm: Tickets will be sold to all remaining season ticket holders.

Supporters who visit the Box Office can purchase a maximum of 10 tickets per person and must carry all season ticket TeamCards to do so.

Further announcements will be made if tickets are available after season ticket holders have purchased their tickets.

Duplicate tickets and collection procedure

UEFA and the local organising committee require us to send information in early August on how supporters will be travelling. Therefore once the tickets arrive, supporters will need to collect them from the box office with a fully completed declaration form. Ticket collection information including the box office opening times will be made available when the tickets arrive.

We regret to inform supporters there are no duplicate tickets available for this match.

Packages with Thomas Cook

Thomas Cook packages are now off sale.

Tickets will be distributed by Thomas Cook on the selected method of transport. Thomas Cook will confirm customers' bookings as per the club's loyalty-point method. Should the Chelsea allocation sell out, Thomas Cook will continue to sell using the above selling process until the tickets are all sold. Supporters travelling with Thomas Cook will NOT need to complete a declaration form and will need to secure a match ticket with Thomas Cook.

As per the club's ticketing policy, tickets will be sold from 7am online and from 9am at the box office/call centre. 95% of tickets will be sold online and the remaining 5% being sold at the box office and call centre.

All ticket sales are subject to availability.

 

I am the eternal optimist but as a member only and with a ticket allocation of less than 5000 for us, I am thinking it is probably unlikely that tickets will be available for the non-season ticket holders. If anyone knows of a couple of super cup tickets going spare so me and the missus can go , I would be very grateful (I am not really expecting a positive result, but you never know).
