Why is it that Terry will get chased and criticized for the slightest little thing he does but Gerrard will get away with everything. The worst part is it's not the fans, the internet or the media doing this, that we can expect. But it's the pundits that are surprising me the most, they wont say a word against Gerrard.

It's funny that every time after a tournament scapegoats are looked for.

The time Gerrard is clearly the worse performer in both games the press decide that 'there is no point in finding scapegoats.' Whilst that notion is probably correct why is it the line when Gerrard has one of the worst tournaments from any English player in recent memory.

Other notions must have a wry smile when they see Gerrard 'controlling' our midfield.
