Wycombe Wanders July 16th & AFC Wimbledon July 19th. - Chelsea are ALMOST back.

 

We could see Zouma, Fabregas, Costa & the rest. Are we excited?

I assume so, I know some are at Cobham training ALREADY.

Presumably the first two friendlies will be the token 'play the youngsters' games we always get in early pre-season before the first-team squad come back from their summer/World Cup break?

 

Always a good laugh though, I'm looking forward to it, I love getting an opportunity to see our oft-ignored youngsters get a run-out in the blue shirt. A good performance against Wycombe or Wimbledon will guarantee a player an entire year's worth of hype and griping that they don't get played often enough...

I think they will be ones for the youngsters, which for us is exciting.
