loz Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hli ... ball_home& Possibly out for the rest of the season so a) we will not see how he fairs against Liverpool B) If we get past Valencia and PSV knock out Liverpool there will be no 'conflict of interest' for the press to get worked up about.
sergeyMS Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 He failed his final mission, so no move to Chelsea. Sorry man
Paul_Seery Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 He will still come to chelsea in the next transfer window. Afterall why did we make the deal if it was not going to be followed. He will come and hopefully he will be fit when he joins.
loz Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 As far as I know there is still the work permit issue - he is not playing for Brazil and thus it is unlikely he will be granted a permit to come to Chelsea. Still not sure why he is allowed to play in Holland though - surely European countries should be playing under the same rules. (what do you reckon David Dein?)

(what do you reckon David Dein?) As far as I concerned work permit is English feature only. And at the of the season I`ve heard he will get Netherlands passport and it means he will be able to move to England without international appearances.
loz Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 I hadn't heard he was applying for a Dutch passport. Again I don't really see why he should get one. This is only his third season in Holland and he has already represented Brazil 7 or 8 times.
SydneyChelsea Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Because it's common knowledge that Luisao and Roque Junior are far better prospects alongside Lucio. The work permit thing is courtesy of the British government.
loz Posted March 15, 2007 Author Posted March 15, 2007 Look at this article on Alex http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 441661.stm Has anyone else noticed a change in tact is the media with regard to Alex articles. Prior to the Arsenal game and PSV then being drawn against Liverpool and potentially us in the CL semis articles rarely, if ever, mentioned a link between Alex and Chelsea. Now every article has the standard line Alex, who is on loan with PSV from Chelsea, irrespective of the rest of the content in the article.
Tim W Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 He's been named in the Brazilian squad to play Chile here in G?teborg and Ghana in Stockholm. Might go depending on the time of England v Ben Sahar
