Hello! RJ from New York here. Came across this site searching for a forum to discuss and read about club tidings. Not a long time fan as I'm relatively new to following the Premier League, but started watching Chelsea as Drogba is a favorite player of mine. He's obviously shifted stateside now, but I root for NYCFC in the MLS (tough league to watch at the moment, but I think the growth potential is high and it will improve over time with proper investment).

I'll be attending my first game on 10/3 vs. Southampton as I'll be also attending the NFL game on 10/4 to watch my New York Jets at Wembley.

I purchased a membership and snagged at ticket Shed End Lower for 10/3. Any recommendations for the best match day experience would be appreciated. Which pubs to attend pre-game, recommended food in or around Stamford Bridge, etc.

Thanks to those who run this site for having me and I look forward to regularly visiting.

Welcome!  I always like Brogans for a pre-match drink or three - though it can be mad trying to get served at the bar.  It's nice and convenient for the match too as it's only a short stagger away from the Bridge and there's usually singing to get you in the mood.  They do food too but I've never eaten there.  I was also going to recommend the Lazy Fox as somewhere a bit quieter that did food that looks good and had a beer wall but I'm shocked to discover it's closed down!  Anyone know anything more about that?

Others here will no doubt recommend their own favourite.

So I'm not allowed to post in the Ticket forum, but my relatives in the UK have got me tickets to the S'ton match on 10/3 so I'm looking to sell mine. What would be a good way of selling it legally? Anyone here interested? It's Shed Lower row 9.

Welcome.  Where in NY you from, the city?  I think you have to post a certain number of times before you can get access to post in teh ticket thread here.  Good luck and enjoy your match
