Having said that look at Scotland's qualifying group and look at ours - I know which one I would have picked at the start yet look where Scotland are sitting in theirs and look where England are.

Trust me these are not good days for an Englishman living north of the border!!

I'm looking forward to Wednesday - no England on terrestrial TV, so they're showing the Italy v Scotland game live on BBC! Should be an interesting game, and winnable from a Scotland point of view, though that might be a bit of a stretch

Main difference between Scotland and England at the moment? - England have 11 players, Scotland have a team.

Scotland's management is also far superior - just stating the bleedin' obvious there though!

I wouldn't get too carried away on the Scotland management front - only a matter of time before Alex McLeish ruins the side that Walter Smith and Ally mcCoist put together. Although they won yesterday it was already a far worse performance than any Scotland put together under Smith and McCoist.

Still better than McLaren though!

Yeah, I agree - I actually meant the Walter Smith/Ally McCoist management team when I said that

I'm just hoping and praying that Alex McLeish can keep it going, though I feel he's handicapped by the presence of Roy Aitken.
