Here's some food for thought about game yesterday...

Fo you think Conte played a tactic that has failed us now for 2years to show the board they need to sign the players he wants?

He didn't have replacements for the players out to fully play his 3-4-3 formation but instead of attempt a solution he played players for the dreaded 4-5-1. Don't for 1 second he intended to lose but I feel there is more to it than just tactics.

Either way I'm sure he got his point across

We played with a 3-4-3, not a 4-5-1. Not sure where you've gotten that from. Even after the red card, the Boga-Rudiger sub put us back in a 3-4-2.

Not quite if you look at it more, rudiger was rb and azpi lb. boga was very central placed with Willian drifting. More of a 4-3-2-1 should I put it then.

Maybe after the cards but that's not really something that Conte can anticipate, your theory relies on us lining up with a 4-5-1 or a 4-3-2-1 which we didn't. We lined up with a 3-4-3 and obviously things are going to get a bit convoluted when you get two red cards in a match.

No, it wasn't. Azpi was RWB, Christensen played in Luiz's spot while Luiz played at LCB and Rudiger RCB. I actually made sure to take note of the shape of the team. I think it changed again when Fabregas got sent off but I was too angry to take note of what the shape was afterwards.

Conte absolutely didn't set up to give message as he said. He did what he could with the material. He might have got it wrong but we'll never know as Gazza took the red.

I thought the problem was we didn't go to four at the back. We had the personnel on the pitch to this. Instead we moved the back three around to accommodate Christensen. Two banks of four to make us more solid with Morata up top would have given us more of an attacking threat.
