August 17, 20187 yr Author Thanks coco, I wanted to come down for the Arsenal match , but they are closing Euston station over the weekend as they are the following two weekends as well. I bet your grandson is looking forward for his first match , have a great day Edited August 17, 20187 yr by CFC North Wales
August 30, 20187 yr Hi. Me being a Chelsea fan also from North Wales, I know the pain of not having any people around you supporting the same club. Everybody I know seems to support either of the Manchester teams or Liverpool. I find it strange how most people I know (including myself) would rather support teams in England than teams in Wales with good reason, Welsh football is a tad bit awful.

Newport County used to be pretty decent back in the 80s.
August 30, 20187 yr True, But look now. Welsh football has fallen a bit. We do have a few standout teams in the English leagues like Cardiff and Swansea but in terms of the Welsh Premier League it's basically a lesser known version of the SPL. Ever since the 09-10 season The New Saints have won the league every time apart from 10-11. I do support my local team but unfortunately they're in the 2nd division of Welsh football.

Hi Bourbon , I know what you mean about Welsh football teams. There has always been a North - South divide here in Wales , which also shows up when following the National team so have been told by some who follow the team to all the games. It is easier and a lot quicker for me to travel to London by train than to Cardiff or Swansea . Three and a half hours on a Virgin train to Euston and then 40min by tube/bus to the Bridge. Best of luck to the Welsh women tonight ! Got my ticket for the Chelsea - Cardiff match yesterday , train already booked !
