I’d be sorry for Palace, but it would be absolute idiocy if we have to keep playing a midfield of RLC and Saul every now and then, or playing Jorginho, Kova or Kante injured while OUR own players keep smashing it for other PL teams. Recall Gilmour and Gallagher, if we have the chance, to play them ahead of RLC, Barkley and Saul, and to prevent Kova, Jorgi and Kante from getting further injuries. I guess it will all be down to Tuchel and the board, but at least I’d bring back Gilmour.

It would be stupid not to recall at this point, kinda obvious that Kante and maybe Kovacic will be injured again. Jorginho is struggling as well, beeing overplayed and playing through pain. RLC is nowhere close to good enough for us, to slow releasing the ball, picks the wrong options in the final third and dosen't have the legs to do the defensive work.

Recall Gallgher now. I would take him over every current Chelsea midfielder except Kante. Tuechel already said he was close to keeping him this season. Send Saul and Barkley packing and put him in a #10 position. He creates opportunities and forces opponents to make mistakes. Those are two areas where Chelsea are lacking. 

Werent impressed by them tbf. Im a big fan of Sarri and what he has done, but I also feel theres clearly some things that he is way too stubborn about. Firstly david luiz can do no wrong, and wont ever be dropped. Secondly the 2 youngsters and christensen wont be given any real chances. To the point where he actually subs christensen in the limited minutes he gets. Thirdly, I thought Kante was one of the only decent players for us against Spurs, but he chooses to single him out, when his two sons Luiz and Jorginho had atricious performances. He also said Hudson Odoi needs to improve massively to even be considered, but i promise you if he goes to Dortmund in the summer, he will be playing for England within a year. I hope hes not going to be like mourinho, and think its ok to throw players under the bus to the media

The competitiveness of the league in England doesn't help our clubs in Europe.

I've wondered that in the past too, and on checking have seen they have their own cup competitions with the same amount of matches though do not know if they get the same congestion as the EPL.
I recall JM the year he won the Europa with Utd having too play some matches very close together with a number of injuries.
I don't think it is practically possible to win 4 trophies though some have won the treble.

Yeah, I saw that. It does sound reasonable. He concedes himself, but downplays the point that pressing and winning the ball higher up the pitch is crucial/valuable to Sarri's system. So may be that's enough. May be that's going to be main Kante's contribution and it is so important for the team that it's OK that the actual attacking threat will have to come from elsewhere.
Or may be he is right and Kante is wasted in this system and doesn't quite have a good place in it.  Which would be a great shame. But Jorginho is clearly the one player that definitely has a place/position nailed on  in this team. So may be - and this sounds unthinkable - Kante is more valuable to somebody else, than he is to us...
And may be we sell his soul to the Devil in exchange for Frank Lampard becoming 15 years younger.

While he could play instead of Jorginho, I see him more of an upgraded David Luiz in the near future. He is a good CB with a lot of quality with the ball on his feet, long and short range passes, vision of the game, he can drive the ball through the midfield, so it would not surprise me if we continue to see him play at CB for us. He is the kind of CB that Sarri wants.

For me Ampadu seems comfortable playing from CB all the way up through midfield. I remember reading from one of his old coaching staff that whatever position you asked him to play he wasn’t phased at all. I think he’d probably bang in the goals too if we swapped him in for Morata 
But sorry if I insulted your lord and saviour RLC, I know you’ve got a massive man crush on him

Hi Bourbon , I know what you mean about Welsh football teams. There has always been a North - South divide here in Wales , which also shows up when following the National team so have been told by some who follow the team to all the games. It is easier and a lot quicker for me to travel to London by train than to Cardiff or Swansea . Three and a half hours on a Virgin train to Euston and then 40min by tube/bus to the Bridge.
