A great result last night. And as for Roofe's goal, what a great strike. Did a great job fending off two or three of their players and then one of the greatest strikes I've seen.

Before the game, I would have been more than happy with a draw but as you say, after being 3-1 up with, a disappointment in the end. The passing for the 'Gers second goal was brilliant. I think that Rangers can beat Benfica at Ibrox.

Indeed. Very different opposition from Thursday's match. Rangers were ruthless today. Some good goals from great passing and movement, I watched the game on Rangers TV and it was great to see the military charity the Erskine receiving some publicity.

Nine points clear of the lot from the dark side and a much better goal difference. True, the lot from the dark side have two games in hand. But as the saying goes, better to have points on the board.

Agree, Did well when he came on. All the subs did a good job when they came on. Zunga made a great debut and Bassey is good backup to Barisic. There is a good squad developing at Rangers. Long may the good results continue. Rangers next league game is home to Aberdeen. A tricky game but with the Rangers are playing at the moment should be a win. The match against Celtic on 2 January could go a long way to determining who will win the league. 2 January will be a very emotional day given that it will be the 50th anniversary of the Ibrox Disaster. Difficult to believe that it's nearly fifty years ago.

If Rangers don’t take at least 4 off Aberdeen they should be fuming. That Aberdeen team were absolutely useless against Celtic but I do feel they raise their game more against your lot.

Agree, Aberdeen always raise their game against Rangers. It would be lovely to thrash them at Ibrox. 

It will be interesting to see if a service can go ahead and what form it takes. I guess that will be dependent on a decision by the Scottish Government and on pandemic levels nearer the time. If a service is allowed, perhaps players of Rangers and Celtic who played in the match alongside relatives of those who died and survivors can attend.

As I've mentioned before I know people including two of my uncles who were at the match. I can remember my Dad phoning his parents to find out if his brothers were okay. They were.

On the 2nd January 2021, Rangers Football Club will commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Ibrox Disaster, an event in which sixty-six supporters tragically lost their life and many more supporters were injured.

With under two months to go until this date, the club would like to provide an update on some of the planning and preparations that are underway to commemorate this important landmark.

In addition to the annual commemorations that will take place, such as a minute’s silence and the laying of a floral wreath at the John Greig statue, the Club is planning to carry out additional match-day tributes around the Old Firm game that is scheduled to take place that weekend. The Club is also exploring all of the available options for a service to be held.

Due to the unpredictability of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is difficult to provide precise details on the commemorations at this time but we would like to assure supporters and anyone with a connection or interest in the anniversary that a number of scenarios are being explored and prepared to allow us to commemorate the anniversary with the dignity and standards expected of such an important occasion.

Big game tomorrow. A win for the 'Gers would see them go 11 points of Celtic. Celtic would have two games in hand but in my much better that Rangers have the points. Celtic only drawing at Hibs today has helped Rangers.

Agree. A great result and performance by Rangers and could have been more than 4-0. Some great passing and movement. I like the way that players can switch positions. Some good substitutions. There is a good squad at Rangers. Thought Arfield had a good game. I reckon Rangers have two of the best attacking full-backs in the land.

No question we're looking better than we have done for years - I'm just praying they can keep this going and not have a post New Year slump like last year. I'm sure they've learned from that and will be doing everything possible to make sure there's no repeat this time.
