Since the Academy Player of the Season award came in around 2015 it’s between him & Harvey Vale for the most disappointing winner.

Solanke, Tomori, Mount, James, Gallagher, Gilmour, Livramento & Hall are all still playing at the highest levels.

2 ways to look at this, how many great players we’ve produced over the years or that 2 (soon to be 3 with George) of the more recent winners won’t make it and what does that say about the academy?

I don't think it speaks to the academy. It's (a) cyclical; and (b) we have no idea what off-field issues there are.
