Seems like an ideal profile for Chelsea - 22 years old, 6'2", true left back.  Maybe hes a bit too polished and we're looking for this type of player one move earlier.

He probably just prefers Arse over us since they've got CL football and we're in the Conference. Also we've got a squad of about 50 players.

They are also offering him £150kpw per Romano. Doubt we’d match that given we are haggling Gallagher over that amount. 

Bologna also proving difficult on transfer fee, so if we indirectly rose the price due to our interest and Arsenal are paying for it, then win/win. 

I’d still take him as well as this veiga guy if we can unload chilwell and cucerella. It look’s almost certain that he’s arsenal bound though. Will arsenal be offloading anyone? If he’s being signed as a lb Timber seemed to be the one for lb before he got injured, then there’s zinchenco who left city because he wanted guarantees on game time. And if he’s seen as a cb then he’d struggle to shift saliba or Gabriel

I think they’re ready to move Zinchenko on. Arsenal friend mentioned an Arteta quote that the goal is to concede less than 20 goals next season. I had to remind him of the 15 we conceded in 04/05. 

The good thing is. . .Arsenal will always be Arsenal.  They peaked last season and won nothing. It is now all downhill for them.
