Anyone else going to Al Ain tomorrow (Thursday 10 Oct) to watch UAE vs North Korea? 

I will be there if anyone fancies meeting up pre match.

Got my chants ready....

"As Kim Jong Un (as Kim Jong Un), Sleeps in Pyongyang (Sleeps in Pyongyang)

He Cant control his football gang

The UAE will defeat them,

and send them packing with a bang...."

and

" North Korea, North Korea - they're small, they're bad, they're leaders always mad...."

 

There was also the offensive one that people used to sing about Park (something about eating dogs) - but dont want to get arrested....

 

 

It's not top of my "must see" list, I'm afraid @nonotnowjim.

I'm always travelling to the UAE, mostly Dhabi Dhabi but ugh, dubai too.

I'll msg you before I go.

My Mrs is taking the youngest out to dubai to see his grandparents during this half term but I'm staying behind.

Nice...thats my town. Except it changes so much every time I go, lol.

Unfortunately my Mrs is from dubai, so I have to go visit her family there too but I tend to make an excuse and stay in Abu Dhabi instead.

How long have you been out there?

My eldest was born in Dhabi Dhabi, he's 21 now (22 in a few months).

The notorious North Korean Ultras have travelled there, I hope they kidnapp you and give you  a show trial back in N.K. !

Unfortunately not. There was only 4-6 people in the away section (we were next to it), and 4 of those appeared emirati!

A decent enough spectacle. 1v1, with UAE taking the lead, and then North korea missing a penalty (saved), before an 86th min equaliser.

NNNJ and fam also got put up on the big screen pre match - so my boys were happy. Not a bad evening out for £10
