Posted September 21, 200717 yr Can't see him hanging around long and the links at the bottom are the sun's revelations that Drogba is fuming and wants away. The stpry of jose's final farewells are also gut wrenching http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/a ... ge_id=1779 http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002 ... 65,00.html http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002 ... 58,00.html
September 21, 200717 yr Well they don't seem to be too down on Roman, do they? "John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole were among players who laughed and clapped as the tycoon showed off his skills ? BOOTING a ball into the net, PUNCHING the air in jubilation, then RUNNING round the pitch to celebrate. Grinning Abramovich larked around on his first visit to the training ground in over a YEAR. Chelsea fans who live nearby revealed the last time they saw him there was last summer when Chelsea signed Ashley Cole. " [web]http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007430956,00.html[/web]
September 21, 200717 yr I'm sure you will get a few remarks made to the press in the heat of the moment and that is understandable with the shock of this news. However once the dust has settled if any players don't want to be here any more then good riddance to them I'm afraid. OK so their coach is no longer with the club but they are under contract to Chelsea and not Jose. They are paid plenty of money to put on the Chelsea shirts and I would only want players who are 100% committed to the future of the club.
September 21, 200717 yr he didn't mention anything about his fitness- how annoying. He should be back soon surely...
September 21, 200717 yr Surely R.A. must have realised that certain players would not be too happy with Jose gone and the possibility they would want away ??
September 21, 200717 yr Surely R.A. must have realised that certain players would not be too happy with Jose gone and the possibility they would want away ?? I am sure he did. But I am also sure that he knew that there was no time he could have sacked Mourinho and not received a backlash. I think its pretty clear his been thinking this over for a good 6 months or so now and finally decided that he had to move Mourinho on (for whatever the reasons, were they reasonable or not) at some point and he decided better to get it out of the way now and allow a new manager to come in and be given a bit of extra time to rebuild the squad. I don't beleive Abramovich is stupid. I wouldn't be suprised at all to see a Capello or an Anchellotti brought into the club in the near future and for him to be given the full backing of the new manager with a substantial transfer kitty to boot. Then suddenly our concerns won't look so terrible afterall..........

September 21, 200717 yr Roman thinks he's playing a computer game doesn't he? I guess he'll think whatever he wants to.
September 21, 200717 yr In my opinion if any player wants out cos Mourinho has gone then f**k them, no man is bigger than a club and maybe this could be a blessing in disguise? We want players who play for Chelsea like JT does. I'm new to the forums by the way, i'm Elliot, living in Preston at the moment but next week moving to Edinburgh.
