The Moos
Great to hear him say that even if it might not happen. Shows that he hasn't given up even though most of the Chelsea supporters have.
Guest
I think his gone. I stuck up for him under Mourinho and I thought that maybe under Grant he might see it as a fresh chance and get his act together. But even Grant isn't playing him at times (Valencia) and I just think his time is up. It will be intresting to see whether he goes back to Italy or tries to join another London club as his family/wife were a major reason he came here in the first place. MannyJello
amazingly, we've stopped hearing the rumors about Milan wanting him back. i wonder why? (probably because they've watched him play this season)

Luis Enrique
Something really bothers me about this article. It's not the over-optimism or confidence that he's showing, but rather that it seems like he's making statements for the team as a whole rather than stating something as his opinion. It almost sounds as though he's usurping Terry or Lampard's role. They're the captains and they are the ones who are designated to speak on behalf of the team, not Sheva. Seriously, does anyone really think that "everyone is happy and calm" and that everyone likes Grant? Sheva's stating this as fact almost as though he's now Chelsea PR. And of course most players were surprised that Jose was going, but in saying this and later coming up with his "happy talk" he's clearly implicating himself as one of the players who was not surprised and probably happy with Jose's departure. (you can almost see the guy rubbing his hands together saying "Goody. Now that Mourinho is gone Grant is going to play me and I'm gonna score!") I think this is may piss some of the other players off, like Lampard, Drogba, Malouda, the very guys who can pass to Sheva and set up these 15-20 goals. And one game demonstrates that Grant is a "specialist?" At what I do not know.
Pauly
he can't say the team is happy? God... what is it a communist dictatorship? ridiculous!
Lofty
"But I'm planning to score 15 to 20 goals in the Premier League this season." I'd love to see it, I really really would.

And if it was JT or Drogba saying it and not the struggling big name striker who is being blamed for Mourinho's downfall?
Chippy
Maybe if he came out and slagged us off he would be better thought of, funny how we all loved Gallas no matter what he supposedly came out and said unyet Sheva says all the right things, never says anything against the club and always keeps positive and he gets peoples backs up? I hope he sgets back to being three quarters the player he was at his best, that would still be enough to score twenty a season and get the respect he deserves. and even if he never gets it back, he still gets my respect for having been as good as he was. BlueBosnian
I don't know why anyone would be against any of our players saying that the team will be just fine, everybody is getting along, the spirit is high, leave us alone...
Luis Enrique
Hey, believe me I have nothing about a player coming out and saying those things. It's who is saying those things and the timing. Have you ever once heard him speak about the team before? I don't recall Sheva ever saying anything that referenced the team or teammates in any other interview. He's only talked about his situation. (to my recollection at least) I'd have preferred anyone but him come out and say those things. I would have though him to be truthful and genuine, not self-serving. But seriously, why aren't we hearing this from the captain or co-captain?
Essien's Strike
i think Sheva's played less under Grant this season then he did under JM! at least JM tried starting him, Grant seems to have some cojones, eh

BLUENUT
But even Grant isn't playing him at times (Valencia) and I just think his time is up. You mean "not playing him this one time"? He was left out for Kalou at Bolton, who was replaced by Pizzaro. Looks like he's slipped down to 3rd/4th choice under Grant. We simpley don't score when he plays!
