November 1, 200717 yr Anyone seen any news on the possible severity of this? No, but it was right in front of me and it looked nasty I'd be surprised if he hasn't either broken something or damaged ligaments. I thought it was a bad tackle from behind but Dowd didn't even see it as a foul - twat!
November 1, 200717 yr Haven't seen or read anything conclusive on his injury, however, it does mean Bridge will be back in business, and that's great news. Was expecting to Bridge to start as a matter of fact.
November 1, 200717 yr Bridge was serving the last of his three game ban yesterday. According to FA ruling, for players sent off in a reserve match, the ban comes into effect 14 days after the sending-off. Bridgey just wasn't selected for the Bolton game (Cole was playing), hence the confusion by some.
November 2, 200717 yr Out until 1st December according to physioroom website: http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_ ... 51af12fee6 Have read elsewhere he might need surgery.
November 2, 200717 yr According to Avram Grant Ferreira will be out for 5-6 weeks But Ashley will perhaps be back as soon as next week. Tough luck, Bridge. Talk about getting suspended at the wrong time JT is making good progress but will be out for awhile. Sounds like he'll be back sooner than many thought anyway. Don't know if that's good news though. I don't him to rush back before he's atleast 110% fit.
