Cheers for your efforts Maksimov - I am just not keen on the 'history' angle as it is predominantly a reference to our rivalry with Liverpool and that isn't really reflective of the club as a whole. if we were making a new banner every year or so then it would be a good line to go down but not if it is a banner that will be around for a while.

Mind you #6 banner is just as good, its growing on me.

No they're variations on my original design. There's more difference to them than just the wording. Well...you've borrowed the Chelsea badges from my draft, but the rest is all yours.

1 and 6 are pretty much your designs with different wording. It was me that vetoed the wording as I didn't want to go down the 'history' route. For that reason I would have vetoed the two new ones you are talking about.

I appreciate you have put a lot of effort into this as has Coco and I think Coco has combined your efforts with his own and also my thoughts.

Can we leave it at that please.

Shame. I thought they were better than my first draft. Just disappointed as I thought you were still waiting for new ideas. Had I known, I wouldn't have bothered. But...it's your project, so you know what's best!

No, they're based on my idea, but they're not my designs. Those have different font and the size of font is different and the aligment of text is different, so it's Coco's design.

As you should! I refuse to take credit for other people's work. You did the banners, so you should be credited for them.

You mean BAWA? Their URL is blueandwhitearmy.net, so it's not written the same way. Although you wouldn't even be able to use the & -character in the address like that.

You have a point. The Blue and White Army -text is very dominant in the banner, so it could cause some confusion and I'm not sure what the folks at BAWA would think about it.

Blue and White army is another forum name however it is a terminology that refers to Chelsea fans as whole and I very much doubt it would be perceived as an advert for another forum.

The banner is not about advertising - it it just about having our own banner and I think the options achieve that.

Personally I think designs 1 and 6 do represent your designs Maksimov and I think you are being harsh on Coco by suggesting they don't. OK he may have changed the font and spacing a little but the overall idea is very much in tune with your suggestion and I feel he has done well to try and incorporate different preferences in a very short space of time.

He has also made it clear that he was looking for a green light from me but unfortunately I was away for a few days whilst the designs were being discussed and couldn't offer an opinion until this late stage.

My preferences from the ones listed are 1 first and 6 second which are the two which are based around your original design Maksimov and I am surprised you don't see that.

I find it a little disappointing that what should be a fun and exciting thing seems have turned into a bit of an issue. You have both put in a lot of effort and I appreciate that from both of you.
