Mika's contract was due to expire in June and has signed a 3 year deal with Hannover. Hopefully it will turn out to be at least as fruitful as his last Bundesliga stint with Borussia Moenchengladbach.

He was promising, but so was Shipperly, he's likely to be a decent striker (unlike Shipperly) but he wa never going to be good enough to win major honours - sorry Butch, Pauly et al.

A tonne of promise, but never really delivered that much. I think that his stint at monchengladbach (spelling?) was a great experience for him, and used to like hearing from their supporters who wanted him to play there full time.

Hope that he does well, but I think he would always have been a step below what we needed
