This may be old news, i wasnt aware of it until today....so sorry of this has been covered previously.

Just seen that Celestine Babayaro is bankrupt. How the hell is that possible after earning thousands of pounds per week?

So used to living a certain lifestyle, plus the fact - let's be honest, not a lot of them are particularly intelligent nor will have ever had to manage their own money before... It's not that surprising!

Oh yeah I know that, its just ridiculous. If I had that sort of money I'd be careful with it.

A few years back I sold a car to Ray Parlour (nice bloke by the way) but to give you an idea of how detached from reality they are, an agent done the deal for him, and his acountant paid for it, all he had to do was come in and pick the car up!

So for me its fairly easy to see how they become bankrupt!

What would he have spent all his money on though?  The only thing I can think of is a hell of alot of drugs. Even gambling can surely only lose you so much before you realise you're losing far too much. Perhaps he has alot of expensive assets like gold/bling, or something.

Baba wan't playing in the ridiculous wage era of today, I'm not saying he should be bankrupt, but he'd look like a down and out compared to todays lower(???) earners in the PL!!
