  1. Whenever I see the first page, this post....
  2. Its funny at how easily this could be Lampard you are describing. (Oscar is a great player btw) Extend his contract Chelsea!
  3. What about the beginning of the season? They played every game and we were winning constantly and we were at the top of the table?
  4. I agree, this pretty much sums up what Torres has provided to chelsea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuQI-cemPvM He is the only player on our team who could lose us the ball by not even having it...
  5. First off, I don't not understand what male genitalia has anything to do with this. Second, you made a very uneducated post focused on one game when we not only played poor but we used a completely different formation. The only thing that is similar between the two formations are the fact that we used a false 9, the problem is that it was our Winger in that formation. Also, I have absolutely no idea where you got the "4-1-2-1-2 thing from at all. And yes, we can change formations easily, Ramires and Luiz have both used this formation from their years at Benfica. This is Lampards best/old position. Oscar plays in this position for Brazil. Mata has played in this position for Spain before, and they use this formation. And Hazard and Moses are not really affected to much by it. So why do you think it would take such a long time for them to adapt? Also we dont rely on our wingers as strikers? Hazard and Moses havent been scoring a great amount of goals so why do you think we have been relying on them as strikers? Also, how would we be "owned" on the counter, you didnt really explain. Oscar, Luiz and Ramires are all known for there ability to track back and work hard so I don't understand what you mean? The only thing I agree with you one is that we could interchange Oscar and Mata and push Mata back into the midfield if need be. If Fabregas can play as a false 9 and a center mid I do not see why Mata, who is just as good couldnt also.
  6. What a retarded post. Are you just an idiot or do you not understand football at all? We played 5 in a back, trying to play for a draw, with HAZARD, our WINGER as the false nine, we played a 5-2-3, with hazard of all people our furthest forward, this is a completely different formation and play style.
  7. I think Benitez should really try to play a 4-3-3 in the Europa leauge against Sparta Prague at the Bridge. I think Torres really harms the team more then he helps us because his stats on how much he loses the ball are appauling, he is more likley to lose a 1on1 then any other player on the field, he has no strength or pace, and no need to even speak about his finishing. We should just take him out and play with a false 9 like Barcelona. I think that this lineup really suits almost every player, The defenders are obviously not affected positioning wise, so no need to worry about them. Now we can take a look position by position Midfield Luiz: He will be playing in a CDM role, this is a role he has really excelled in and many believe this is perfect for him. Ramires: Now this is Ramires' preferred position, this is where he will REALLY shine, this is his natural postiion and you will get a lot of linkup play and running from him here! Oscar, now many people wanted to see Oscar playing in a slightly deeper postion and this is perfect, he will be on the ball a lot and he will get a lot of touches while linking up with the wingers and Mata. This is the same role he played in the Brazil vs England game where he was second to only Wilshere in his performance that night. Attackers Hazard: Now he will be somewhat playing the same way he has, except now he will be able to make nice darting runs beyond Mata and behind the defense, the same way Pedro does in Barca, this will utilize his pace and skill, and you can expect a lot more goals from him now. Moses: Same as Hazard, he will be able to run at the defense the same he has, but now he can use his pace to run behind the opposition defense and will now have a lot more chances coming his way Mata: Now, this is a position I believe that Mata can be as good as his current position, although I think him behind a World Class striker would be slightly better, with our current squad for the Europa league I think this is his best position. He will be playing basically the Messi role, as a Center forward who will drop a bit into the midfield to get on the ball alot and he will definitely make chances which we know he can take, having scored more goals then Torres this season. He will also get to use his creativity to stockpile on assists with Hazard and Moses running into the spaces behind him and making even more chances. Hazard Moses Mata Oscar Ramires Luiz Cole Ivanovic Terry Azpiliceuta Extra Info: 1. Full backs: Now in this line up the fullbacks will be pushing up more and will be more involved with the play, something both Cole and Azpilicueta are both great at. 2. We want of course to save Lampard for the PL, we want him to be as fresh as possible so he can break the record!!! We should only use him if he is crucially needed. 3. Mikel and Luiz are exchangeable they both look like they would do great in the CDM role, ofcourse Mikel would be a bit more disciplined and would add stability but you wont get the passing/vision of Luiz which is something he is quite good at, and the tackling ability. They both have different strengths and will bring you something a little different. 4. Subs, didn't really talk about it, that's something you guys can decide for yourself, but I just put up what I believe to be our strongest starting 11. 5. If Terry doesnt look like his fit enough or doesn't play well in the FA Cup against Brentford then you can swap him out for Cahill. What do you guys think??
  8. Anyone who thinks Neymar has an attitude problem are the same exact people who think that Hazard had a attitude problem. Both of these guys are top class lads. They are known to be very nice and proffesional so attutide has never been a question about Neymar. Now moving to his football. This guy can play as a striker or a winger, something that we really do need. So we have cover for Ba once we get rid of Torres and Lukaku could even stay on loan if he wishes. This guy is top class and anyone who thinks he is just another footballer with a bag of tricks is wrong. Everyone in Brazil knows him for one thing, HIS FINISHING. He is one of the best finishers in the world and most people outside of Brazil only see his tricks but he is a very well rounded player.
  9. That still doesnt take the blame away from him. All I am saying is that no matter who you are, if you do a mistake like that, and it costs us a match, the fault is on you. The fact that the great players dont often make mistakes really just emphasizes what I am saying, if they dont make mistakes often, then when they do, they should just take the blame and move on
  10. In four matches, JT has conceded a penalty gotten called for a passback to the keeper and now was at direct fault for the second newcastle goal. He is an important player in our team but that does not take away from his performances in these matches, especially the one at Brentford. PS: I love the our old guard but they are not always perfect and just like any player they must take responsibility for their mistakes. Although they don,t make mistakes often. But Terry has made quite a few in the last few matches,
  11. Quick question, John Terry dives in at the half way line, doesnt get the ball and Chelsea get scored on directly because of that. If David luiz did that exact play then you wouldnt hear the end of it. Same with Mikel as well. Why do some fans hold double standards over players??
  12. He is close friends with the owner, so due to the respect has has for him, he would never ever buy the club from him. But how hard would it be to buy a league 2 team or something?
  13. I think we should set up a cooperation agreement with a league 1 or championship team so we can loan them our up and coming youth players. Many teams would welcome the piazons' and chalobah's and feruz's that we have and will continue to produce. We already gave out McEachran to Middlesbrough why not give them more? I know that the main problem is that they cant afford to pay there salary but youth salaries for a team like Chelsea is peanuts so we should just keep paying them the same way we already do and let them all go on loan, it would be even better if they are all on the same team to so they can gain experience together in top level football. Real Madrid has the RM Castilla and Barcelona have the B team which both play in the second tier of spanish football. I just really think that it would be in the best interests of both parties to loan these guys out to a championship side... Now also, I know we have a reserve team but reserves are not anywhere near the same level as npower championship and it wont ever really be. There is not only an increase in talent but there is genuine competition that you will always find in football leagues but never in reserves or youth teams. Tell me what you guys think..

  15. I don.t think we need any CAM players, KDB, Oscar and Mata can all play that position. One world class proven striker in his 30s to bridge the gap while Lukaku is gone would be great. The problem about our CDM postion is NOT about depth. We have plenty CDMs but none of them are proven world class defensive midfielders. Defensive Midfielders at Chelsea (Lampard is not included since he will most likely leave and he is not in his natural position anyways.) Mikel - Decent solid DM but NOT what I would consider world class. People make him out to be horrible but he isnt, he is slightly above average at best. Romeu - Very unproven, potential is there but lack of first team action makes it hard to judge. So don't expect to rely on him. Luiz? -The expirment worked well, he looks great in this position but again, still unproven, requires many more games to judge him fairly. So dont rely on him either. Ramires- Another decent player, brings loads of energy into the team. I like him a lot but he is more of a central midfielder than a DM, 4-3-3 suits him best, so dont expect to rely on him in CDM. Essien- On loan, seen a few matches of him in Madrid, not exactly his former self but still an OK player. Not the bison he used to be. So don't rely on him either. So there you go. We have 5 players who all want to fight for 2 postions. 2 major problems here. 1. Not a single one is World-Class, they are all either better in other positions, past their prime or just an slightly above average player. We don't have a solid reliable CDM that could be the backbone of our team, for example Yaya Toure for Man City. 2. They are also not always available. One is out on loan. One is injured. One just recently started playing the position. And one is at the African Cup of Nations. So availability is also a problem. That is why I would like to see Mourane Fellaini in the team. Because he is rock solid and very reliable. And bonus points cause he is Belgian : D ( so no African cup of Nations and adds to the Belgium contingent.)
