I think we should set up a cooperation agreement with a league 1 or championship team so we can loan them our up and coming youth players. Many teams would welcome the piazons' and chalobah's and feruz's that we have and will continue to produce. We already gave out McEachran to Middlesbrough why not give them more? I know that the main problem is that they cant afford to pay there salary but youth salaries for a team like Chelsea is peanuts so we should just keep paying them the same way we already do and let them all go on loan, it would be even better if they are all on the same team to so they can gain experience together in top level football. Real Madrid has the RM Castilla and Barcelona have the B team which both play in the second tier of spanish football. I just really think that it would be in the best interests of both parties to loan these guys out to a championship side...

Now also, I know we have a reserve team but reserves are not anywhere near the same level as npower championship and it wont ever really be. There is not only an increase in talent but there is genuine competition that you will always find in football leagues but never in reserves or youth teams.

Tell me what you guys think..

I think Vitesse in Holland are already sort of like that, I guess the problem is a lot of clubs have their own identity and don't want to become our B team, and having loads of players on loan isn't going to help them the next season once all those players aren't there anymore.

Exactly that. Teams dont want to be the Chelsea youth team. Im sure most would want one or two of our bright stars to help them out but not be taken over by Chelsea.

A simple solution would be for Roman to buy Vittesse and then we can have our own team B. I think their is a law against an individual owining two clubs but i am not clear. i think the law only prohibits a person from having the ownership rights of two clubs in the same league.

He is close friends with the owner, so due to the respect has has for him, he would never ever buy the club from him. But how hard would it be to buy a league 2 team or something?

It would be interesting to see if we could do find a way to do something similiar to what the Udinese owner has done. I'm sure Roman could afford to buy a lower league foreign club and send our players on loan to them.

Could just enter our U21 team into the conference or something or League Two with the proviso that they can't be promoted.

Pretty sure that can't happen. It was talked about quite a bit a couple of years ago but I think it may have been voted against.
