When I see him play he does remind me of Romario same sort of stocky dynamic skillful player.. obviously a long long way from his level but the potential is there.. Lets see how he does in the reserves and then a loan somewhere before he gets a look in the first team. I reckon at least 2 years before he gets in the first team squad.

Played well, Mata, Bertrand and Torres in particular. Tie not over yet though, need a good performance in Moscow. Has to be Mata for me just for his sheer quality on the ball always trying to make something happen and another trademark assist. Ryan Bertrand had a excellent game didn't put a foot wrong and got forward very well tonight.. that's the best I've seen him play and hopefully coming into form when we need him most with Ashley out. Couldn't understand why Rafa took Moses off instead of Yossi, thought Moses looked lively and direct and Yossi done sweet fa up to that point, but he done well in the build for the 3rd goal.

What I've seen of him the kid looks class but its too early to throw him in the deep end, but at the same time if this kid (along with Boga and Ake) don't make the first team at some point in their careers then I can't see anyone doing it again.

I agree, Munich last May put a lot of "are we ever going to win this" to bed! also takes a little bit of pain from Moscow away. I felt quite content watching it last night knowing we've won the thing! Imagine how the Gooners feel when they watch it! now that's jealousy.

Obviously we all want both but in answer to the question I'd pick the Europa, just to complete the full European set which only a couple of clubs in Europe have done, it also means a great trip to Amsterdam which was taken away from us because they lost on pens to Steau B. I can't understand how anybody would want us to lose in any competition, I want us to win everything we enter wether it's the full members cup in 86 or the ZDS cup 1990... surely it's about winning trophies! We had years of winning nothing so lets remember where we come from.
