Our past performances (in the last 5 five years) in the CL are the reasons we are finding it hard to attract top talent. If they can get paid the same/more somewhere else and have a BETTER chance of winning the CL than us, why would they pick Chelsea? I don't think Hazard would choose Chelsea today.

I watched a bit of him today I think he had an average game. The manager has stuck him out of position on the left wing which he doesn't suit him but shores up the midfield. Didn't contribute that much. Hard to argue with the results though so I think he is going to stay there. I think he would struggle in our team, I don't think his style suits our play. I never said Conte was bullying our players. I said he doesn't know how to deal with people. David doesn't strike me as a troublemaker. Luis is an emotional guy, he got upset that he got substituted. Now this is a normal situation for any manager, your big personalities get upset and its your job to deal with it. But somehow it doesn't get dealt with, and has wildly escalated to point where Luis is leaving. That is poor man management. It's poor leadership. It's not the first time this has happened either. . Conte's terrible man management disrupting the squad again. Instead of fixing the bust up with Luis, he decides he'd rather make the squad weaker and let one of our best players go. All this over a substitution where luis wanted to be kept on. Someone at the club needs to rein Conte in before he starts screwing up the squad again.

Who has trouble managing someone like Luis? Conte is just so bad at man management, even Avram Grant wasn't this bad. To be a successful long term manager, you have to be good at man management. Where is the proof that Conte wanted to keep Matic? I have heard differing reports The thing is I don't know what Bakayoko is good at. He's poor going forward, average at keeping possesion, and average at defending. I still remember him giving away stupid and needless fouls outside the box. You are probably right, but this season the market was insanely competitive and we ended up getting rudiger and bakayoko, players who no other top clubs seemed to be interested in.

I have to say I don't rate Bakayoko. The board thinks it can get away with buying sh*t players noone else wants and still compete for trophies.

No Kante no control. Well Cesc could control but he can't retrieve the ball to save his life. Fabregas is really good at certain times. But you don't want him in a 2 man midfield in a tough european away fixture.
