well, the evidence tells me he was hardly picked for any game.its avworld cup year, I expect going to Brazil for a Spaniard is more important than sitting on the bench for us.We jumped at Uniteds offer, unlike United's response to us over Rooney.

too right mate, the guy is a gentleman, I would have loved him to stay, but he should leave with our blessing, he has gone out of his way to thank us. I think he would have wanted to stay, it must have been made clear he wasn't wanted.

Just as he loved us when he came to us, he'll feel the same about United, that's the way of professional footballers, they are not fans. All our team apart from JT have been bought from other clubs, we can't moan when one is bought from us.

I don't think any of us believed it would happen, once the east stand had been built it was more about saving the club from property developers than dreams of a fantastic stadium.

terrific game yesterday, and I have to say United were very good for much of the game, just glad Rooney wasn't playing, fantastic team spirit in our team now

only chance is a tout, expect to pay a lot of money...but don't pay anything until you can see the ticket first...it will be about £150 at least, gets cheaper near kick off, if all else fails, watch in pub near ground, atmosphere will be electric.

Let's be careful today, United tend to get the breaks against us, if we only put away half the chances we make we will be fine, but that's been a problem in a lot of games. Will be up there early today , will be a great atmosphere, come on the CHELS !!

In the Guardian today Jose reckons United are "very dangerous'' I hope he has drilled that into our players. In fact their away record is better than ours, we will have to be very careful, let's hope joses's incredible home record stays intact.

I never went to that Brighton game...wasn't that when the old bill used the pedestrian underpasses as makeshift prisons for the night?....away games were a blast in the old days, and home games come to think of it.Yeah, very different these days mate.
