The Champions League is gone, in my opinion. The damage has been done over the course of the season, I really do not believe things will just fall into place and we will somehow be in the Champions League come 5 o'clock tomorrow evening. As a result, I would like to see some rotation tomorrow and keep some key players rested for Wembley. I'd go with the following line up (in 3-4-3 of course, I highly doubt we'll see anything else) Tibo Cahill Ampadu Chistensen Sterling Kante Barkley Emerson Hudson-Odoi Morata Pedro

Chelsea V Huddersfield (PL) Wed 9th May 19:45 UK
If ever there is a match that summed up our season, it's tonight. It's going to hurt missing out on the CL next season, but if we can't even break down a relegation threatened Huddersfield at home, fail to capitalise on chance after chance at home to a sh*te West Ham, or lose to a Crystal Palace side that hadn't won up until that match, we simply do not deserve to be in the Champions League. You reap what you sow, and in this case, poor recruitment, poor football, poor form from players, and above all else, a manager who for whatever reason simply didn't have the heart (or interest?) this season has been the downfall. We can criticise Huddersfield's tactics all we want, but that would be detracting from the bigger picture: we've been our own worst enemies this season.

Our Youth on Loan
I was at Cork City vs Sligo Rovers last night, Mitchell Beeney started for Sligo. He did well, pulled off a great save early in the first half and looked very composed throughout the rest of the match, there wasn't much he could do for City's winner. At 22 years old however, I don't think he has much of a future at Chelsea if he's playing League of Ireland football for a side that will be battling relegation this season, but stranger things have happened.

Southampton V Chelsea (PL) Sat 14th Apr 12:30 UK
Wow, that was some rollercoaster. Giroud changed the game, he should start up top for the rest of the season. Conte, however, is hanging onto the job by the skin of his teeth. He would have been gone if we lost today, but I still think he'll go at the end of the season, regardless if we win the FA Cup or not.

The commentator on the stream I'm watching keeps talking about Chelsea's CL chances. I think he's more optimistic than any of us of qualifying!

MOTD Chelsea rant
What an absolute wally of a journalist [emoji23] footballer in getting abused at a rival team's stadium scandal [emoji23] it's quite clear that there's an agenda in the media when fans shouting from the stands is being considered the same type of hooliganism as a team bus being attacked. There's clutching at straws and then there's this...

Chelsea V West Ham (PL) Sun 8th Apr 16:30 UK
Once again, we have no one to blame but ourselves. We dug our own grave by not finishing off the chances we had and, as has happened so often this season, the foot is taken off the pedal, the opposition pounce, and the points are thrown away. As soon as the Little Prick came on, you just knew he would score, but that goal should never have been scored; another defensive cock up has cost us. I don't want to sound spoilt or entitled here, but it really hasn't been good enough this season. Both players and management need to take their hands off their cocks and start pulling up their socks (not that it really matters at this stage of the season because the damage is already done). As has been said so often lately on here, I just want this season to end, it's been sh*te.

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager
Surely the final nail in the coffin for him today. The FA Cup wouldn't be enough to save him; then again, I'd nearly rather lose to Southampton in the semi finals than to Spuds or Jose's United in the final, that would be the dingleberry on on the steaming pile of sh*te that is this season. Thanks for last season, Antonio, but it's time to go.

And that's that. Oh well. Limp along to the end of the season, and then a serious assessment of the current set up must be done.

I f**king loathe Vertonghen. An absolute pig of footballer who is no stranger to challenges like that.
