  1. Just seen Jose's comments. Very, very rarely that I disagree with the man, but he's talking absolute nonsense about the second half.
  2. Very annoying that you know he won't play open like he did against City as well. Will be tough.
  3. That's very f**king annoying. Might have changed the game, but we really got what we deserved overall.
  4. That was very painful. Long journey home now.
  5. Just on the train up. Nerves/excitement starting to kick-in. I fancy us to at least take something today.
  6. Any idea whether we'll wear the home or away kit tomorrow? I know it's usually the home against City for some strange reason.
  7. Spot on. If the player makes enough noise, it will happen. Everton are foolish to turn down upwards of £30m.
  8. I'm going to this one and we have never lost a Premier League game or any away game I've attended. Just saying...
  9. Very strange decision and behaviour from Mourinho. Would perhaps be more understandable for him to have been so worked up about it had it been a title decider when the pressure was really on. Two sides to every story though, and her facebook post certainly did her no favours whatsoever. There has been an overreaction to the whole affair, with it naturally being jumped on by the media and the usual 'classless Chelsea, classless Mourinho' comments are being bandied about left, right and centre. The whole thing is very strange, but let's be honest, we've got far more pressing concerns, starting with getting something from City at the weekend.
  10. Quite happy that a lot of City fans, supporters of other clubs and the press are writing us off for this one, saying we'll get thrashed. Feel that usually suits us (Liverpool & City away 2013/14 season spring to mind).
  11. I'd back us to keep a clean sheet here. However, if we go behind and the game plan goes out the window, it will be a very long afternoon.
  12. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=60FpAWZeJMU In case anyone's still feeling down about Saturday, this should brighten up your Monday
  13. Losing at home to the pikeys, get it right up you
  14. Arsenal fan tv is going to be unmissable tonight.
  15. Erm, no, no it isn't. The first home game. The clue is in the word first; you can't base anything on the first game of the season.
  16. Basing any kind of prediction on the Community Shield, a glorified pre-season friendly, is absolute nonsense.
  17. Got to love how hyperbolic some people are: 'we won't finish top 2', 'Jose has f**ked us, Roman has f**ked us'. It's the first game of the season, get a f**king grip
  18. Missing this one unfortunately, heading north of the border to watch my other team (thankfully will be at the following 3 games). Always important to start strongly and I fully expect us to do so (certainly in terms of results, if not performances). No need to panic after last weekend and a couple of dodgey pre-season results, as some have done. Think we'll dig out a gritty 1-0 win. Would love to see a Falcao goal if Costa doesn't pass the fitness test. Seriously itching for the season to start now, 5.30pm tomorrow can't come quickly enough!
  19. Kenedy could be a prospect if he gets the work permit.
  20. Pre-season is completely meaningless results-wise. We'll probably end up beating Barca.
  21. Slightly regretting renewing my plus to watch this one
