FA take no action on Ashley Barnes
Interestingly, Veronghen had a push on Sunday, very similar to Matic's, which went completely unpunished.

FA take no action on Ashley Barnes
Has anyone else listened to the Guardian Football Weekly podcast today? In it they say that 'the tackle was correctly executed' and that 'why shouldn't a team like Burnley be able to come to Chelsea and employ those kind of tactics?'. They also basically say we had it coming for Mikel's tackle on Arteta last season. Seriously, what are these guys on?! This is usually a well balanced and reasonable podcast as well. It's discussed around 15 minutes in if anyone is curious.

FA take no action on Ashley Barnes
If there wasn't a siege mentality in the dressing room before, there sure as hell will be now. Hopefully this just fires the team up even more to go on and win the league.

Chelsea v Burnley (PL) 21/02/2015 KO 15:00 GMT
I actually used to quite like Burnley as well, thought they were a real gutsy underdog. Now I'll take great pleasure in watching them get relegated.

Chelsea v Burnley (PL) 21/02/2015 KO 15:00 GMT
Several hours (and many drinks) later I'm still absolutely fuming about yesterday. It was clear that the guy was looking to hurt someone the whole game, which Ivanovic even pointed out to the ref in the first half. Cynical, cowardly display from Barnes. What a miss Matic will be next week as well...

Haven't been as angry as this after a game in quite a while. I have no idea how Jose didn't lose the plot in his post-match interview; credit to him for keeping so calm.

We were poor, but the ref was on a whole new f**king level of appalling. What a c**t. That challenge from Barnes is an absolute utter disgrace.

Some absolutely ridiculous decisions from the ref. No idea what he's thinking. Luis has made some great tackles. We are still far too guilty of trying to walk it into the net though.

Looking forward to this, will be nice to get back to talking about football after this week. Three points are obviously a must, but these lot are clearly no mugs. Nice to have this before City's game as well to put even more pressure on them before their game.

Collymore hate chelsea - petition
As a Chelsea fan, I would want absolutely no association to a club like Rangers. Absolutely none at all. I always find it embarrassing whenever I see Rangers scarves being sold outside the ground or Rangers flags in the ground. This is not a club or fan base we should want to be even remotely associated with.

Chelsea v Spurs LC Final 01/03/15 KO 16:00 GMT
They'll almost certainly play Lloris. Think City had a similar situation a few years ago in the FA cup where they'd played Pantilimon in every previous round, but brought Hart back in for the final. Let's hope Lloris puts in a similar performance to the one he put in at the Bridge in December...

Chelsea vs Everton (PL) 11/02/2015 KO: 1945 GMT
Massive win. Place was absolutely bouncing off the walls when the goal finally came. I thought first half in particular we actually played some really nice stuff; far better than first half performances in the games against the likes of Hull and Newcastle where we actually led at half time. Second half we seemed to run out of ideas a little bit, but kept going right until the end to get that precious last minute winner; the hallmark of champions. Bring on Paris.

Aston Villa vs Chelsea (Sat 7th Feb, 15:00) (PL)
I thought Courtois was being massively fouled at several of their crosses and corners which the referee failed to spot.

Cheers pal, was about an hour in the end. Thank f**k we won or it would've felt a hell of a lot longer.

Aston Villa vs Chelsea (Sat 7th Feb, 15:00) (PL)
Finally on the train back to London after a complete fiasco at Witton (though as I type this train has now been held due to someone jumping in front of a train, so that's great...). As for the game, absolutely delighted with the 3 points. They came out flying at the start of the second half after a massive kick up the backside from Lambert, but we really dug deep to get the win. Very proud of the players, everyone said this was the kind of game we had to win and we did it. These are the games that make champions, and you could see that in the reactions of the players/Mourinho - absolutely fantastic to see him fist pumping towards the fans at the end, had so much time for that. Shame City got the equaliser, but perhaps I'm being just a bit greedy... Massive day for us, bring on Everton on Wednesday! (If my train ever gets me back to London to see it).

I think he was in charge for Hull at home.

Mourinho says in his press conference that Fabregas is fit. He's awfully moody in his press conferences these days which is a shame to see, but with some of the decisions we've had lately and the pointless questions asked by the media, it's hard to blame him.

Any word on the Fabregas latest?

Chelsea vs Man City - 31st Jan, 5:30 GMT
Huge deal already being made of Mourinho's avoidance of the post-match interviews. It's the f**king headline article on the BBC. Why don't they focus on the actual game itself for once rather than obsessing over Jose?

MOTM vs Man City (H) (PL)
Zouma, he was excellent. Cahill will really struggle to regain his regular starting place. Willian also worth a mention.

Chelsea vs Man City - 31st Jan, 5:30 GMT
We played poorly, particularly second half. Will take a point, very happily. We're in the same position we would have been had City beaten Arsenal (as everyone expected) and we had won today. We are still very much in control of this title race; overall picture is very positive.

f**k Clattenberg, the c**t. Came from a throw in where not even any part of the ball had crossed the line.

Ivanovic and Fagregas both have a 75% chance of playing according to fantasy football.
