  1. Don't know if I can be arsed to stay up for the rest of this. Way past my bedtime. And anyway, my adopted country went through last night.
  2. That useless Real Madrid player does it again.
  3. England hanging on desparately when Norway attack.
  4. Oscar Bobb makes them a better team.
  5. VAR could award two goals.
  6. Jude Bellingham. @Scott Harris favourite player does it again.
  7. Well the Dermott is more celtic than Viking, so I am guessing Ireland. Though Dermott Aas-Ruud would give you a genuine Nordic connection.
  8. Can't we just go straight to penalties?
  9. So far it is Marescaball at its finest.
  10. We should bind him up in duct tap, put a gag in his mouth and leave him outside Tottenham's training ground with sign that says "free gift from all your Blue friends in SW6. Do not return to sender".

Some people will dispute that view, but as a match going fan who lived through those times, I know they are wrong. No Batesy, no Chelsea. If he had done what he did for us at any other football club, they would have a statue of him at the entrance to the ground. For me the greatest Chelsea Legend RIP Ken
  13. 100% mate. Best we have had in my lifetime.
  14. Fair enough. Your opinion. But that Ronaldo "closeness" to the top three players you refer to is an absolute chasm.
  15. Well you are entitled to your opinion and to disagree. But you're wrong. I find it strange that you can make a statement like this when in a previous post you admit your viewing of Pele was extremely limited. If your knowledge of him is limited how can you reasonably make the comparison? Seems like talking for the sake of talking.
  16. Mate. Trust me. There really isn't.
  17. Messi is an absolute God of a footballer and Mbappe is nowhere near him. But still, for me, Pele was the most complete footballer ever. He was brilliant at everything. A killer in front of goal, fantastic running with the ball, terrific in the air, strong in the tackle. Pace, stamina, an incredible football brain, tough as nails. A hat-trick in a World Cup semi-final at 17 followed up with two goals in the final. And all this in an age when balls weighed a ton compared to today, pitches could be like ploughed fields and defenders could literally amputate a striker's leg and not be penalised. He was magnificent.
  18. Conspiracy. That picture is obviously staged. Nicolas Jackson was not the first man on the moon.
  19. Here he is then. BBC SportGeovany Quenda: Meet the new Chelsea wingerChelsea's new signing Geovany Quenda hopes to follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo by leaving Sporting's academy for the challenge and exposure of the Premier League.
  20. He's still here then.
  21. Couldn't make it up could you. We give them a crazy £40 million for the talentless, lazy Garnacho, who they were desparate to get shot of, and they give us just £10 million more for a vastly superior player who has generally shown the right attitude, skill and determination in his time on the pitch.
  22. Gary Neville has just said on live TV Enzo Fernandez is "a fantastic footballer" That will go down well on here.
  23. Blueco will be giving Enzo a contract extension and a hefty pay rise.
