  1. We should bind him up in duct tap, put a gag in his mouth and leave him outside Tottenham's training ground with sign that says "free gift from all your Blue friends in SW6. Do not return to sender".

Some people will dispute that view, but as a match going fan who lived through those times, I know they are wrong. No Batesy, no Chelsea. If he had done what he did for us at any other football club, they would have a statue of him at the entrance to the ground. For me the greatest Chelsea Legend RIP Ken
  4. 100% mate. Best we have had in my lifetime.
  5. Fair enough. Your opinion. But that Ronaldo "closeness" to the top three players you refer to is an absolute chasm.
  6. Well you are entitled to your opinion and to disagree. But you're wrong. I find it strange that you can make a statement like this when in a previous post you admit your viewing of Pele was extremely limited. If your knowledge of him is limited how can you reasonably make the comparison? Seems like talking for the sake of talking.
  7. Mate. Trust me. There really isn't.
  8. Messi is an absolute God of a footballer and Mbappe is nowhere near him. But still, for me, Pele was the most complete footballer ever. He was brilliant at everything. A killer in front of goal, fantastic running with the ball, terrific in the air, strong in the tackle. Pace, stamina, an incredible football brain, tough as nails. A hat-trick in a World Cup semi-final at 17 followed up with two goals in the final. And all this in an age when balls weighed a ton compared to today, pitches could be like ploughed fields and defenders could literally amputate a striker's leg and not be penalised. He was magnificent.
  9. Conspiracy. That picture is obviously staged. Nicolas Jackson was not the first man on the moon.
  10. Here he is then. BBC SportGeovany Quenda: Meet the new Chelsea wingerChelsea's new signing Geovany Quenda hopes to follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo by leaving Sporting's academy for the challenge and exposure of the Premier League.
  11. He's still here then.
  12. Couldn't make it up could you. We give them a crazy £40 million for the talentless, lazy Garnacho, who they were desparate to get shot of, and they give us just £10 million more for a vastly superior player who has generally shown the right attitude, skill and determination in his time on the pitch.
  13. Gary Neville has just said on live TV Enzo Fernandez is "a fantastic footballer" That will go down well on here.
  14. Blueco will be giving Enzo a contract extension and a hefty pay rise.
  15. The Belgian players taking the piss and doing the Donald Trump dance. Love it!!! BBC SportWorld Cup 2026: 'A sense of injustice' - Belgium say Trum...Belgium's Nicolas Raskin says Fifa's decision to allow US striker Folarin Balogun to play against them fired them up for the last-16 tie in Seattle.
  16. Com'on Tottenham. You know you want to. You have been buying everyone else over the last few weeks. Go for it.
  17. Trump favour backfires as US exit World Cup in humiliating fashion https://www.telegraph.co.uk/gift/602e789672818827
  18. USA and Trump pumped 4-1. Justice is served. Trump should have told Infantino that they should have been allowed 14 players on the pitch. Might have only been 3-1 then.
  19. Vamos Espana.
  20. The Trump Effect has already caused repercussions in the soccer ball world. Reuters: Europe It has been confirmed that Nicola Sturgeon, former First Minister of Scotland and leader of The Scottish National Party from 2014 to 2023 has twice telephoned Gianni Infantino, President of FIFA, to request that England's third goal, scored by Sir Geoff Hurst in the 1966 World Cup final, be rescinded and the game declared null and void as VAR was not available to conclusively prove that the ball had crossed the line. A FIFA spokesman has said that the request has been forwarded to US President Donald Trump for a final decision. Ms Sturgeon said "I am confident that my good friend President Trump will look on this favourably, as we both use the same fake tan supplier and he fingered me when I was 12". 4 hours ago - Reuters
  21. Please see your examples which I assume are a poorly executed copy and paste attempt to back up your stance on this, and then note the key bolded and underlined sections. So one question. How many players missed their next international games? Answer......... All of them.
  22. And it appears to be confirmed that Trump did contact Infantino. https://edition.cnn.com/2026/07/06/politics/trump-world-cup-balogun-red-card-infantino-analysis It is highly unlikely we will ever get full disclosure on the Epstein files, but perhaps they could try and bring the Infantino tapes into the public domain.
