  1. The debt belongs to the limited company which owns the club. If RA goes, then AN Other has to take on the debt as part of the deal. I have no idea what the share structure is at Chelsea Ltd but any future purchaser will pay £X for the shares and agree to settle the liabilities - so it will have to be somebody with 'kin deep pockets! It's a lot more complicated than that but I think that's it in a nutshell.
  2. Sorry to be boring and for taking the conversation away from Callista's (no doubt) very alluring chest. Whatever money RA has put into the club can ONLY be shown as a loan in the company accounts. It can never be income. Also, he would rank behind any other creditors if he did decide to bugger off. But potentially there is a black hole there and if we start splashing the cash in the summer, it will get bigger. Anyway, back to ............
  3. So if he stays I guess you'll all be booing?. Farking hell, can't you see his qualitiies over and above the silliness? I don't hear Liverscum calling for Gerrard to go, I don't hear Manyoo calling for Ronaldo to go.... but hey...... they are both divers. What's the difference?
  4. I'm on to it now - believe me, the world will be a better place.
  5. L****s - should be thrown out of the Football League - no reason apart form the fact they're L****s.
  6. 1-0 up, bye bye L***s.
  7. Whoever comes in will have to deal with RA's - shall we say - "hands on approach". Unless he keeps his nose out of footballing matters I can't see any top manager wanting to be at Chelsea.
  8. Oh well, I tguess the overwhelming opinion seems to be that he should go. I'm happy to be in the minority! I wonder what RA thinks???
  9. Well I think he did stay on his feet a little bit more earlier in the season. I repeat the question though - who is a better CF than Drogba at the moment, not forgetting his solo role up front and his tracking back? He will be bloody difficult to replace.
  10. Loz, I'm not saying that his behaviour is acceptable - far from it. What I am saying is that he's a bloody good footballer and let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. I said on another thread that he needs some TLC - a good manager will get through to him, I'm sure of that.
  11. I'm sorry but I find this whole anti-Drogba thing completely ridiculous. Overseas players coming into the Premiership brought with them -shall we say- a certain attitude. Watch any European game and you'll see the same antics over and over again. Drogba has been a damn great player for us and I think he can improve again. He needs strong management perhaps but I will be desperately disappointed if he leaves.
  12. I really like Drogba I have to say, always have done. Yes the rolling around is stupid but there are other players who do the same thing without the stick that he gets. If we want to play with a centre forward, then who is better? Drogba and Crespo have been the most exciting CFs in the Premiership in my opinion. I think it's a little bit too late for Hernan to return to us but I think we should appreciate what we have got right now!
  13. Just, it's like any other "business", you only get sacked if your hands are in the till or down somebody's pants (not your own obviously).
  14. We all feel that way don't we? I'm not surprised that JT took the pen, it was just bad luck that he slipped. Re the general penalty shootout thing - I remember us losing in the Inter Cities Fairs Cup ON THE TOSS OF A COIN! Can't remember who against, could delve into my programme collection or Google it but can't be arsed today. COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Just need to get today over and done with really. Every time I put the TV on it's "let's go to Manchester and enjoy the celebrations" or endless replays of JT's miss and Rednose saying the best team won. Even that UEFA d**khead Gaillard? was saying he felt happy and emotional that Manyoo won 50 years after Munich etc. If anyone is looking for conspiracy theories, given the crap and biased refereeing, look no further. We were fantastic after 30 minutes or so and it was fate that we lost (or conspiracy). And I would love it if Didier stays - maybe some TLC is needed but the bloke is a fantastic footballer who has had a huge influence on our great club.
  16. Totally agree about Essien at right back, I don't understand why Paulo isn't even on the bench - we've got out of jail but to bring on Belletti to counter pretty boy would be a disaster. Let's hope for the best - and to be honest it is hope at the moment.
  17. Nice one Loz - felt a bit of a lump in the throat there. To go with the butterflies in my stomach. Just need something in the legs now! Seriously though - for Ossie, Nobby (never Mary in my opinion), Matthew, Rocky and Hutch - LETS DO IT!
  18. 17:45 2 hours to go. I feel more and more confident the nearer we get to kickoff but I can't get rid of the butterflies. COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Just cracked open a bottle of Stella, kids home from school now, wait for Mrs C to come home and I think I'll follow Gem's advice and go for a run. Along the towpath into Richmond, pint at the White Cross, sweating like a pig. Back home, nice hot bath, more Stella and then we win the Champions League. Sorted!
  20. I was up this morning before 5 - woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. As I'm self-employed I gave myself the afternoon off but I think I'll have to extend it to the morning as well! Be going to the offy soon to pick up some cold drinks, might be opening one before too long. Should I tempt fate and get something bubbly?
  21. Cheers guys. Yes, The Apprentice is rubbish but then Mrs C likes Big Brother as well!
  22. As a long time lurker on this forum I've been ticked off by admin for not contributing. So I guess that today is as good as any to make a start! I've supported Chelsea since the mid sixties, although to be honest I don't get to as many games these days as I would like. Anyway, I'll be watching at home with my three nippers while the wife watches The Apprentice in another room .............. I know, what can I say? COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
