we have no chance of top 4 and will be lucky to make top 7.....the decline is deep rooted its football when your make mistakes as we have over the last couple of seasons the crown slips.. but I like conti give him time... the really sad thing is if we had a chance to get kloop last yr we have missed a trick ......

that's shocking news one of my all time favs and a man who without his incredible performance at Wembley 1n 1970 we wouldn't have won the cup god bless you peter and lets hope the club do the right thing by him

nice post...we are the famous the famous Chelsea..

if the future targets are to be believed ..then we have moved from the big pond to a smaller one with players who we wouldn't have even looked at 2/3 yrs ago... we are at a crossroads that will determine were the club goes in the future .. uncertain times at the bridge ,,, but forever cfc...

it is the wrong decision taken by a board that is the laughing stock of the football world.....kloop was the man and we will live to regret the day we didn't install him..

Chelsea had the Stretford end and part of the side stand ...I would say we had in the region of 30 thousand there

going back to the full members cup pics....and a story about david speedie, my youngest lad played for an under 13s team in askern south Yorkshire around 16 yrs ago....after one home game we went back to the local and he was in there having a drink..top man mentioned I was Chelsea and he spoke to me and my family for around 15 mins,,,,,,he loved his time at the bridge and spoke volumes of the Chelsea fans support home and away.........

the Chelsea supporters club had a monthly mag out around that time think it was called the Chelsea blue might be something in there ...I had a stack of them and saved them for yrs but when we moved house 20yrs ago lost them all..

I have my doubts ....a pragmatic coach who will do little to bring the beautiful game to the bridge,,,,i think we are at a stage of poor decision making on managers/ players.. and the thin line of been at the top table with the best and the one that houses the ones who just cant make it.. will be the norm ..

great photo off the old bridge....this was around the time my attending the bridge on a regular basis was coming to an end family and the expense of coming down from the north meant my watching the blues live were just a handful of games in the north each season....returned after 20 odd yrs for the cup game against Sc**thorpe 11 yrs ago.. and couldn't believe how the old ground had changed so much.....love the vintage section and the old pics my era of following the cfc.....keep them coming...
