All cup competitions require some degree of luck, Chelsea very unlucky to win there group and get AM in the last 16 which is normally still a poor part of the competition, it was good to get Porto in the quarters. For me Bayern and City are the best teams in the comp, Bayern was very unlucky as they demolished PSG in the first leg and with the amount of injuries they had was pretty bad plus no Lewandowski for either leg. I always thought it was going to be a chelsea vs psg final because of Tuchel but looks like I could be wrong.

And you you think those numbers are high against that kind of opposition? Sheff Utd on 17 points, Fulham relegated, chasing a win against brighton. Theres also 6 vs Barnsley, 8 vs Sheff Utd in thr fa cup and 13 shots in 180mins vs Porto, really high them.

We still only managed 9 shots vs Fulham, 7 shots vs Brighton, 15 shots vs Leeds, 9 vs Southampton, 9 vs Sheff Utd, 14 vs Wolves. Everyone can find stats to suit them as we found out about Jorginhos unbeaten record for long enough.

Both games are completely different anyway, against west brom we are 2-1 down and have 10 men and Jorginho contributing to all of it. He deserved to be taken off and I have no doubt if that's a younger player you wont see him come out for the second half. The Fulham game we are 1 nil up and 2 nil after 50mins and game over, there was no way Gilmour is being taken off in those circumstances, you would actually be crazy to bring on Kante and Jorginho with Real in midweek and risking your best player was very risky.

So you think if Gilmour or CHO played the way Jorginho did in the first half which was actually worse then they play 72mins?

That's a good point, but I've only seen CHO being subbed when brought on. Jorginho lasted 72mins against West Brom, we all know if that's CHO or Gilmour then there off at halftime. If TT really rated Abraham and wanted him involved then you would bring him on against Palace for example when your 3 nil up at halftime to build his fitness up. The Brighton game was 0-0 but god knows where Abraham was. Just 2 examples of how easy it is to build a players fitness up if they are actually a part of a squad. If that's certain other players then they most likely start let alone build up there fitness so the reason Abraham is nowhere near match fit is TT himself.

Abraham has been back alot longer than a couple of weeks, the reason Abraham isnt match fit is because of TT himself, Abraham wasnt even on the bench let alone given 30mins at the end of the game to build up his fitness for quite a while now. Its pretty clear Abraham isnt rated by TT, there's nothing wrong with that. If it was certain other players they would have been straight in the first team, although Tuchels quote is true there is abit of bs about it too. What was the reason for the lack of PL minutes before Abraham got injured? We have seen it in other cases like CHO that TT treats younger players one way and older players another, again it's no surprise as his expected to bring instant success and his own personal success isnt judged on bringing through youngsters. That second half yesterday was awful so apart from lots of running there is nothing else Abraham could do. Players know already if they are off in the summer and Abraham would score plenty of PL goals for another club, it's the reason people have wanted Abraham to be given some more gametime plus the team struggles to score.

I would rather have Ramos playing over Nacho, Varane or Militao, Varane is one of the best defenders in Europe and the other 2 have been superb of late. I personally think it’s a big risk playing Ramos who can’t be match fit, defiantly not near his best and that’s without the antics. I personally think Mendy is a big miss for Real more than Ramos as Marcelo just doesn’t have the legs anymore but Nacho can cover left back. Also just read Carvajal could be out and without Lucas aswell who has been playing well at right back I wouldn’t be suprised to see Real play 3 at the back again as Marcelo and Odriozola are so weak defensively.

Not sure what you expect? His barely played any minutes for months but his meant to come on and liven a game which was dead from the 50th minute onwards in a 15min cameo. The match was awful in the second half and just going through the motions and tbh Abraham was only brought on for fresh legs, plus his not even in TTs plans anyway and atm the best thing for him is to leave the club.

If you look at the teams Michy has scored against then you would know he has scored plenty of international goals against sh*t teams. The qualifying system for international comps has been rubbish for many years now. I would really underrate international goals, the records players reach now are ridicolous with the rubbish like San Marino, Gilbrator etc.

International football is not the highest standard, it's actually pretty poor these days. Batshuayi has 22 goals for Belgium in 33 games which looks world class but his lucky to be called an average player.

I thought Kroos had a muscle injury but will be back for the Chelsea game.

Real are struggling due to injuries, also Varane and Valverde having coronavirus. They dont quite have the squad of past and the last 3 league games Reals teamsheet hasnt been great, plus Modrics age is catching up with him now. Chelsea actually have quite abit better squad than Real
