Problems started as early as pre-season. The season before we brought early and had the transfers sorted. Last summer Mourinho spent pre-season asking for signings and all we got was last min deals and no one who can make the first team better. Champions always have to improve, Chelsea never did that. Then the Eva incident and it was downhill from there.

Reason Mikel could still be at the club is because no one has bidded for him lol. Plus all the problems Chelsea went through to get him.

The fans know a Mikel pass before he does lol. Get the ball, take ages with it, either get tackled or pass it left or right. You was right you press Mikel and he will make a mistake at somepoint. My biggest hate with Mikel is he has no urgency. When teams attack you always see Mikel jogging about. You see that stat on skysports about top speed lol. Yeah Mikel had a good game, wait till we play PSG and see how good he is.

Losing possession while being pressed sounds like Mikel since he has been at the club. I remember when the opposition use to put extra pressure on Mikel because they knew he was useless with the ball and would give it away. Now his a first team starter let's see how he gets on till the end of the season not just the one game.

Yep for this season, doesn't suddenly make Mikel a great player though.
