Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*
Stuck my head back in here after a while to complain about this and Im not disappointed to find that actually the majority seem to agree. Extremely underwhelming bordering on embarrassing appointment. We, like United have accepted mid to upper mid table mediocrity for the foreseeable future.

Yup.. Really don't understand why peoplme want a boring dead league that thbe same team wins over and over. People pretend it doesn't matter because it's city but like I said in 50nyesrs time nobody remembers how a team won their titles just that they did.

Much rather Arsenal than CIty. Will become a boring league if city win every year... People. Keep saying it doesn't matter because it's city... Until City have the most in Pl history and then in 50 years time nobody remembers how they won them only that they are number 1. Arsenal need to do it so the league doesn't become the bundesliga before this year.

Thing is we say that now. If they keep winning the league then in history people don't remember how they won it, Only that they did. If it was just one or two I'd agree but we can't have city winning 4 in a row.

Yup, honest. Can't bear to see city win it 4 times in a row, makes the league boring, do we want another bundeliga SPL or French league? They just hoover up every world class player wi. The league rinse repeat. In the history books no-one will remember how they won it only that they did. It's the claim they used against us. I'm aware lev won busndesliga this year but before that bayern won 12 in a row.

Honestly, just can't bear seeing the same team win it over and over. Liverpool bottled it and I have far more annoying memories of them in the 00s.

Am I the only one who would much rather Arse won the league than City? I get there's a rivalry there, but seriously if this carries on City will end up the most successful club ever and in a longer time no body will know remember or care how it was done it'll just be there. Would much rather see Arsenal do it. I absolutely hate the EPL turning into the French German or Scottish league, with city winning it every single season by hoovering up all the best. Players.

Wasnt a pen though. To be honest, I would sooner face Liverpool than City if we get to the final, feel we edged pretty much every game we played vs them this season, and we are due a positive result vs them.

United are still fully convinced it's the manager letting them down. They seem entrenched in this idea that some of their players are 'world class ' because of their names and still persist to this day in saying they are better than our counterparts. When will it dawn on them that Pogba is not world class Bruno is not world class, Sancho is not top class, Ronaldo is finished and the best are either average or poor? 'Well they must be better than the likes of Mount, Havertz, Werner, etc because they are the bigger names. We are 9 points ahead with a game in hand having played tougher fixtures. At the moment, its a chasm.

Luiz was nowhere near as bad as made out, and I fully believe his appearance made him more of a target. Plus his contribution to attacking play and penalties were excellent.

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
You'd think so, given the record vs big teams it would be utterly crazy.

This line up is so much more fluid. Ok not perfect given some of our players are out, but I would sooner watch this line up regardless of result than 90 minutes of pointing.

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
Considering our stature and spending power, we never seem to be linked with the best anymore. Why do we seem to find these clunkers constantly. I think its this that has prevented us from being more dominant domestically. Ok can hardly complain with our trophy haul since 2003, but Man City are about to have won more titles than us in the PL era despite us having an 8 year head start.

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
Oh yeah I understand that, but it feels like we make so many repeated errors with transfers, particularly strikers.
-
Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
Crazy that we could have had Abraham. Ok hes not a top striker, but he was already with us and would probably get more goals and be more involved than Lukaku.

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
If he starts in the final I am putting 1k on Liverpool to lift the trophy. Its literally the kiss of death vs any team, let alone a top team. Werner looks so much more threatening and exciting even if he is perpetually offside.

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
I dont care if he scores the winner today, for the love of god can we stop starting him! This whole thing where players have to forced into the starting line up because of contractual details regardless of form is one of the things killing football. United know enough about that. He is dreadful.

I would love it if they bought Kane. They just cant stop making the same mistakes over and over again.

United are hitting the levels of delusion Liverpool were at between 2004 and 2014 although even then Liverpool won the CL in that time. Ever remember the boom bust cycle RedCafe used to post every season for Liverpool? Their players just aren't very good, and they overrate almost every single one of them with even the ones that have had good patches just being nowhere near top class. Then players that have been out for a while become immortalised as though their return makes all the difference until it sinks in they are average as well. ... Im just bitter still because RedCafe banned me 5 years ago, so watching them suffer makes me smile 😂

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
Has to be sold this summer, although we will take a loss. Sometimes you have to just suck it up. What makes this all the worse is that he seems to be one of those players whose appearances are tied into his contract- if that is still a thing, because on form he should be nowhere near the team. I prefer how we play without him even if we lose, and have no confidence in the last half of the season like this. We were sold that he would at least put away the small teams, but he isn't, he makes us one dimensional and slow. It will end up resulting in Tuchel going when it absolutely shouldnt.
-
lets talk about our defence
Does anyone know what the record is for most goals scored by defenders in one teams season? Feels like we have a reverse team. Our defence has scored 22 goals this season, unless I have miscounted somewhere. We must be near or on course for the record surely?

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
Technically speaking we were only beating them at 116 minutes so the point still stands 😛

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
How has he played today, or need I ask considering we are failing to beat Plymouth after 105 minutes?
