Looking forward to seeing how Baba gets on, I know he's not great defensively but this could make or break his Chelsea career, remember it took Dave a long time to break into the team and only after an injury to Ash so here's to hoping another star is born, absolutely love Dave though, not everyone is like him and has his desire to be tossed on the bench time and again because he only cost 6 million and now hes turned into our most reliable player and probably the best defensive full back in the world. All apart from that, lets get a result tonight and bring something back to the Bridge, 1-1 draw with a Willian Free kick would be nice, or a Mikel winner cos in that case we'll know our hand is on the trophy, written in the stars!! Would be a bit hesitant to start Hazard after comments but think I still have to because Pedro looks unconfortable in the system and don't think he'll perform if he plays, at least Hazard has the skills to give us an out ball: Courtois, Dave,Ivan, Cahill, Baba, Mikel,Fabregas, Willian,Oscar, Hazard, Costa. Although I'm not his biggest fan I think Oscar will put in a shift tonight, he always seems to put in the extra miles in CL games with regards to his defensive ability! Come on the Blues

Because we got 25 million for a player that cannot pass the ball, if we had kept Ramires and sold him at the end of the season to a non Chinese club we would be lucky to get 15 million for him. Great business by the club, regardless unless we have another miracle of Munich season we are not gonna win the CL anyway, if we did we would be relying on an awful lot of luck like we had in 2012, albeit thoroughly deserved after the lack of luck over years previously. I do agree we lack a bit in centre midfield with regards to strength in depth though, Mikel will need to have a great game for us to get a positive result I feel. My preferred starting 11 would be: Courtois, Ivanovic Terry(if fit) Cahill Azpi, Mikel, Fabregas, Willian Oscar Hazard Costa We cannot afford to ride our luck like we did last year in the away leg, really feel we need to score again anyway. Hopefully we can force a mistake from David Luiz. We also need to make sure we take advantage of every free kick, hopefully Willians delivery will be good on the night.

Starting to really get f**ked off with everything lately, the performance of the players has improved lately, no doubt about that and Ive got excited about Oscar again as per usual he will let me down and go missing again. The main thing f**king pissing me off is playing a right footed left back, I don't understand why we would spend 18 million on a left back who is deemed unable to defend, for that the fault lies with the scouts but I don't believe that this player is "unable to defend" he is not going to get any better by not playing. I'm also annoyed at Hazard ever being dropped, yes he's been poor this season not as poor as being made out but he is the one player that will create that chance, we would have won if he started tonight, that cross to the back post was class and should have been a goal. The second thing is Matic,I don't know what is going on but if he is not mentally strong enough to deal with this loss in form which I suspect he isn't then its no use and he needs to be shipped out, its a tough world out there and he's had more than enough time to try and deal with his problems, he's been worse since Hiddink came in. Ongoing issues at club really annoying me, 4 year contract for Cahill, 1 year for Ivanovic and nothing for Terry. Terry is irreplaceable in so many ways and our problems will only deepen when he leaves as I've always said. For the record I am yet to be convinced of RLC, yes I would love him to be our new golden boy but leave it out lads he will play when he is ready to play, I personally do not think he is busy enough around the pitch, Jose spotted this in a post season game last year

Expecting it to be Tibo, Iva, Zouma Cahill Dave, Mikel Cesc Oscar Willian Kenedy Costa. Hoping Kenedy impresses as I think he's a top class player but going to be difficult for him starting his first game. Wouldnt drop Zouma we need his pace there, think JT might sit this one out with the pace of Everton up top

Just on Tony Gale, 1. Why is he such a c**t? 2. Why does he despise us so much? I know Lamps made a mockery of him on radio about 10 years ago but surely if u had any self respect you wouldnt make it so obvious in the media that you hate a club, I just mute when I hear him and he is always commentating on our streamed games, he's a f**king w**ker, wish he'd just f**k off and do something else with his time, the miserable c**t

Decent result in hindsight, but what worries me most is the fact we havent got a midfielder with the ability to play a decent defence splitting pass. People can give out about Fabregas as much as they like but until we start pushing him up the pitch goals arent going to come. Absolutely love Jose but some of his decisions in the market are leading to our demise. De Bruyne, Lukaku even Bertrand let go and all would now get into our team. Our midfield is a disgrace and we give Ramires a 4 year contract who cannot keep the ball for sh*t what sort of a statement is that in the European game nowadays,that is not a decision from a club going in the right direction.. Oscar is just a joke really a few good games then u dont see him for 2 months like a completely different player. Id never wish for it but head over heart best thing for us is to lose a tight CL tie vs PSG cos I dont think they will give us the runaround god forbid if we got Bayern Barca or Real in the quarters, Seems like Jose wanted instant success and he's a master at it but I really fear that a massive long term fall from grace is coming for us particularly when JT is finished. NEED MASSIVE CHANGES IN OUR SQUAD and players willing to play with some heart, honest to god we havent got a nasty streak in us at all, were so so so naive, like Hazard in CL earlier this season goes past player in the box and gets a free penalty and tries to stay on his feet, this is top level football and we play like 7 year olds in the schoolyard

Anyone that slates Lamps and Cech are idiots, would give anything for the players we have now to show the sort of passion and commitment they showed. As someone said above they're not our toys and theyr also human beings who were let go. Cech could still have 5 years at the top, we could have cashed in for 50 on Courtois, players are rarely at clubs for more than even 5 years now anyway and he does strike me as someone who doesnt have as much passion as he did for Atletico which is fair enough considering what he acheived with Athletico, still a class keeper but Cech is still currently better than him.

So hard to watch, I remember that excitement when he came back, 1st game of the season at the Bridge, I don't think I'll ever be as satisfied as I was that day to see him sit back on that bench. Im convinced Drogba played a huge part last year, my big fear at the moment is relegation and I am serious, some of these teams are improving and playing decent football, depending on the number of players who apparently were against Mourinho there could be considerable unrest between certain players, Its all been a really really puzzling state of affairs really, so much talk of Cesc being a bad apple but yet he plays almost every game and constantly backing mourinho, I personally dont think there was a personal agenda from anyone against mourinho, still think they all respected him but I think he planted seeds of doubt in players minds about his methods, wins league last year feels like God, makes bizarre and arrogant decisions because he feels he can and ruins players confidence, remember this is the prem and the particular group of players we have at the moment arent mentally strong like 2005-2011. 1. really public harassing of Hazard, Jose had his reasons but Hazard is not a type of player that will react positively to criticism its clearly affecting his confidence, he pissed off jose big time on Monday though but from what Id seen before that in spurs game and porto game he was quite unlucky not to score and it is chipping away at him 2. Costa still played big games when he was available 3. Matic being put on and subbed was humiliating for the player and not fair imo 4. Eva Carneiro case was a farce from the start Im disappointed he hasnt given the likes of Kenedy more playing time, he obviously rates him if hes keeping him in the squad, hes an exciting player, also agree with poster earlier about RLC, I think hes a little overated and Lewis Baker is a better player, idiotic english footballing mentality though(Im irish btw so same mentality here) where the bigger a player is heightwise and physically the better All in all, Jose chopped around a bit with the team breaking the confidence of players and planting seeds of doubt in their mind. I dont believe that a group of more than 2/3 were personally against him and unwilling to try, I still saw a will there since Mid october but the confidence is too fragile for our mentally weak players but feel he went way too arrogant thinking he could do what he liked starting with the Eva Carneiro shambles. If these players were so against him he wouldnt have kept playing them. Obviously our pre season was a joke and cost us early on but our players arent strong enough metally to overcome this form right now in my eyes. Regardless of who is in charge we need wins ASAP and hopefully a confidence boosting win at some point Really stressed to the max over everything atm, Jose has not been himself though in interviews for quite a while and he was embarassing himself especially after Southampton game, my heart breaks for him I hope he recharges his batteries and gets a breaks and then doesnt end up at United

Completely agree with this and its gonna go to a whole different level when John Terry leaves, and were probably stupid enough to not give him a 1 year contract extension, for his leadership alone hes worth his weight in gold, or possibly he'll offer him the managers job at the end of the season and sack him after a month disgracing another chelsea legend. I really really fear for where we are going at the moment particularly because of the lack of leadership as you said and the lack of determination in the team, next full time manager will be run over aswell

Firstly, no I don't agree with this decision to get rid of Mourinho, this is my lowest point as a Chelsea fan, I feel cheated particularly by the players, it is not acceptable but I feel Jose felt too powerful this season and let his ego get the better of him losing the players in the process. Just think, every single person here before u go blaming Abramovich, the only poor decision he made in regards to managers was sacking Jose the first time and that was mainly because it was his first manager in my opinion. Grant- Supervisor Scolari- Disaster, like running a playground Hiddink- Top class, honours contracts, no choice Ancellotti- we werent even close to the team we were when we won the league the year after- debatable, players loved him, possibly too much AVB- Player power, cant play JT in a high line, showed inexperience Di Matteo- First sign of Abramovich weakness, knew he wasnt good enough for the job but gave him 2 year contract, shoulda been ruthless here despite CL win Benitez- pretty good appointment albeit hes a d**khead

I completely agree that it will be difficult to attract top class players but we can still attract some decent ones producing more than Oscar/Ramires who've been with us for years, not questioning Ramires attitude but why do we persist with someone who can't keep the ball. Oscar I just dont know anymore one day he seems up for it producing tackles which look great in front of the crowd, then hes anonymous for a month again. After tonight Hazard could decide hes had enough, hes been made a scapegoat this season imo, hes not been good but by his ridiculous high standards thats always what hes judged on, confidence has suffered and hit the post what 3/4 times and had a goal taken off him at Arsenal great effort at spurs saved, in addition to that its quite difficult to make an assist when our players(Costa especially) refuse to actually enter the box. Mourinho is not getting the best out of Hazard and Fabregas also has been a scapegoat, yes hes been very poor and rightly dropped but Jose is playing him a position where he can't affect the game/confidence goes etc etc We have some decent youth players who of course will never get a chance. RLC will be a decent midfielder, wont be a worldbeater imo as people are making out. Musonda looks very good but reminds me of Gael Kakuta and we all know how that went. Bertrand Traore looks a star in the making and been really impressed with Kenedy but again he's really not getting a chance

I really don't know what to think at this stage. We need to get rid of half our squad. I wonder with decisions like Ramires getting a new contract about where were going. I don't understand why were not trying to put together a team capable of challenging in Europe. I like Ramires but he's a fish out of water in Europe giving the ball away so cheaply so why is it acceptable in the Prem? Would be very reluctant to call for Joses head but starting to think this there is some truth in his 3 season cycles. You surely can only ask players to play this type of football for so long. The football were playing is outdated. We dont let our attackers attack half the time and we pay 18 million for a left back who can actually cross the ball and we persist with a right back who is useless and a right footer playing left back, Theres no imaginativeness about our play and Jose got rid of all our creative players for the sake of one year where everyone put in a huge shift to win the title. Understand the Cech decision but whos to say he cant play for another 4 years, massive loss for us although Courtois is good hes not as good as Cech. De Bruyne was a sickener to lose and a big mistake I don't care what anyone says, can understand the Lukaku decision but attitude excuse is a complete cop out, his attitude was incredible he was actually a striker who wanted to play every game unlike Costa who thinks that throwing a bib indicates how pissed off he is that he's not playing, if he'd have cared that much he wouldn't have come back overweight in pre season. Need a MASSIVE change this January/summer, need to replace Oscar also which should be easily done, playing 8/9 half decent games a season is not good enough. All in all a massive clearout is needed but don't think Joses philosophy will win titles year on year, players cant keep playing to this system with the same level of enthusiasm eg arsenal away last year 20 somethin % possession, same with united away
