Good to see Cesc back , got a neat long-ball assist for the costa equaliser David Luiz , wow ! that was a solid game for mr.unpredictable . Happy to see him play at his best Eden was being Eden , and Hazard was being Hazard . Simply Amazing ! But somehow my MOTM : Diego Diego Diego ( 1 Goal + 1 assist + Beast performance ) Good game , whose next :D . KTBFFH !!!!!!!

In the form we are in , i wouldn't agree to that . Maybe the Chelsea of 2015-16 , yes ofcourse , but now a point , or a hard fought win (This is achievable) would definitely make more worth and give that extra bit of confidence going in to the rest of the season . If that win can extend our lead over City and Liverpool , i mean , why not ? TBH , we got nothing else to play for . Its the PL or nothing . A draw would suffice , but we should try our best to come back home with the 3 points in the bag

ha ha , i absolutely agree . but the irony is leicester are still champions and we got to retrieve it from them . What a pity . look at them now . They're closing on relegation spots !

Its mostly going to be a draw . Pep nor Conte would want to lose this one , i dont see a killer game . Now its fine for Costa to pick up a yellow card . Once we're done with City , we wont need to face any of the big ones for a while . Get Michy some play time too :)

Cahill has captained Chelsea in Terry's absence . I feel there's too much love for Mikel here , isn't it . ha ha I wouldn't start mikel in this game . He hasn't played any PL game so far & with Kante doing a very good job at pressing the opposition , i wouldn't drop him now , Certainly not for this ManCity game . Matic will be the only CDM and that would mean a complete change of formation to what were playing now .... With Willian , Hazard , Pedro and Oscar up forward , were you suggesting a False 9 ? If thats what you meant , then Fabregas should play in the staring XI mate . He'd provide a good lot of through balls for these lads to score . With Ivano as wingback , we're losing out on trickery and pace . He's capable of good deliveries from the right side into the D , but i would happily see him play as one of the 3 CBs . Very ambitious indeed ! I'd fancy your playing XI to go up against a mid-table side , not a top opposition at this stage :)

He din't unfortunately but i hope he gets more PL time , if that can build his confidence to play up with Hazard/Pedro .

He started in that EFL cup loss to West Ham and played the enitre first-half , just for the record . He was subbed cause he wasn't doing good in that game . Maybe my statement was a bit harsh and i judged him based on that . Yes , he's got scraps in PL games from which a striker's quality can never be judged .

Alright . That was a bit harsh , but i simply dont see him as a direct back up striker .

The match has been scheduled at the perfect moment . Chelsea's form is stupendous . No premier league team is unable to match up to our playing standards off late . This game should put our integrity and new formation to test once again , with Spurs arguably the toughest test for Chelsea this season . I would rate Spurs above Manc or Arsenal because of their solidarity to play as a team , defensive reliablity and young,agile & quickfeet strike force . Injury issues for spurs means we are in a better position to seal the deal . Rose / Alderweireld / Lamela out sounds like bad news for Spurs , but they have pace , depth and solidarity . So there should be no room in our minds to under-estimate them . Moses would definitely exploit the gaps left with the missing Rose and a make-shift Vertonghen to play there , but Alonso will face a tougher task to see off Kyle Walker . Kante will be influential to keep Eriksen and Dembele at hold and a free Matic can roam forward . I expect a heavy midfield battle between the teams , with both teams trying to look for possession and quick passes . With the 3-man defence , i dont see Spurs going for long-balls , rather they would stick to ground passes and through balls . We on the other hand , have an advantage of long balls with David Luiz , Alonso and Moses doing this regularly to find Pedro / Moses . I predict a 3-0 Home Win with Hazard scoring a brace and one from Diego Costa :)

I hope i wont see him missing the big EPL games coming up ! Spurs and City , after the Boro game . Batschuayi is B.S. at the moment , that lad needs to show some serious performances if he deserves to play up as CF and to be considered as backup for Diego .

I cannot remember a Chelsea performance so dominant like this one ! Yes 8-0 Wigan , 7-0 Stoke and 6-0 Arsenal games were excellent . But do realise that Everton this season has the 2nd best defence in the epl , and rattling their defence with 5 goals in a game is supercalifrikarious !!!! One shot off target for Everton in that game , one freaking shot , where Bolasie was easily tamed and they're in-form fiercesome , ex-chelsea striker , Lukaku simply went missing ! All credits to our mean defence and solid defensive midfielders , giving enough support for wingbacks and attackers to play freely ! I wish Tottenham and Man city get destroyed in the same way ..... :D

I'm not convinced with Luiz / Cahill . Neither are stable defenders with too many defensive errors ! Offloading one of them and bringing in Bonucci will be a wise move

certainly worth it . he's in the form of his life and he's constantly proved his worth season in season out for juve ! terry's 36 but still going strong , on that basis bonucci has 5-10 ahead for sure and i dont see a decline in his career , unless he picks up some horrifying injury . italian footballers are known for their long careers (totti , maldini , etc. ...)

With this new defensive formation , expect a lot of clean sheets for Tibo !!!!! I was skeptical about his performances in Chelsea's goal . Finally , am happy we have him and he's showing the fans that we weren't wrong when Petr Cech had to make way for this lad ... Well done Tibo !!! Keep up the hardwork and our faith in you shall remain strong :)

Tough to say , everone did well . I could pick Hazard , Kante , Cahill or Pedro for their goals ; Kante or Matic for clinical & dynamic box-to-box play ; Alonso or Moses for their wing-back proficiency . Courtois's performance on the night was unquestionably impressive . Had it not been for his quick responsive saves , ManUtd could have come back strongly in the game . This is the first game i feel that Courtois has been tested so much in one game , in this season . Best performance so far , perhaps routine saves for his standard but those were just too good to ignore ! MY MOTM - Thibaut Courtois !
