Great team performance but after criticising Courtois some weeks ago I'll give it to him for a few outstanding saves which if scored might have changed the momentum of the match.

This guy gets my vote for getting The Chels prepped for this match

Difficult one this week, everyone was superb today. Easily Matic best game of the season, hopefully got it back. Kante has shown this week again that he has more to him than just breaking up play. Good strong games from Tibo and the back three. My MOTM between two and Hazard just pips Moses.

It's hard, Azpi, Matic, but voted for Tibo. He denied them for coming back into the game.

I honestly cant choose i would go for Moses simply because as highlighted on sky and MOTD his positioning when defending and attacking was superb countless times he was there in the right place

Went for Cesar as i am his biggest fan, Moses close second. The team overall were brilliant, i know Hazard scored and he played well but can't really see why most of the forum voted for him as MOTM. Hardly his best performance this season.

Moses for me again

A tough choice but went with Kante, absolutely bossed Pogba and Mata to the point where it was easy to forget either were on the pitch at all.

He is probably the shortest player in our box when we are defending aside from Kante. But I lost count of how many times he was there to head the ball out of our box.

Pedro, Azpi, Luiz, Kante, Matic, Hazard and Courtois all outstanding, could make a case for all of them.

I know you don't want to be critical with such a fantastic results, however I thought our midfield were fairly absent in the game.  All our attacking was done through the wings.  Hardly noticed Matic until his superb pass, he's not the intercepting/tackling machine he once was.  Same goes for Kante, barely an interception. 

Thought Pedro/Moses were fantastic.  Gave the nod to Pedro.  Top job for being on his toes in the first minute and what a great assist to Kante.

Great team performance and so many contenders. Practically everyone deserves a mention.

Courtois looked a lot more assured and made some decent saves.

The defence all played well but special mention to Cahill. He's had a rough patch but hasn't hidden and was exceptional yesterday. I would give him MOTM but can't give it to a defender when we've trounced Utd 4-0!

Pedro, Moses and Hazard all played brilliantly and Costa kept their defence busy.

But MOTM has to go to either Matic or Kante who totally bossed Pogba & co. If Matic can carry on playing like that I will have to eat some humble pie. That said, Kante still just shades it for me - he was everywhere and deservedly capped his performance with a well taken goal.

10/10 to all - especially Conte.

 

Tough to say , everone did well .

I could pick Hazard , Kante , Cahill or Pedro for their goals ; Kante or Matic for clinical & dynamic box-to-box play ; Alonso or Moses for their wing-back proficiency .

Courtois's performance on the night was unquestionably impressive . Had it not been for his quick responsive saves , ManUtd could have come back strongly in the game .

This is the first game i feel that Courtois has been tested so much in one game , in this season . Best performance so far , perhaps routine saves for his standard but those were just too good to ignore !

I said before the game that Hazard would do well against the lanky manyoo team, he didn't let me down.

Kante Moses and Matic were right behind Hazard, and between those four they put in the best performance by our midfield this season.

 

And to top it all off, Tibo had a great game mopping up whatever manyoo threw at him, which wasn't a hell of a lot.

I am going with Cahill. Scored a goal and made an extra in midfield when required as well as working hard in defence. A team performance really.

They aren't supposed to be the ones making the headlines, their job was to nullify an attack which included the most expensive player in football history.

Not only did they do such a good job that our back 3 barely had to make a tackle all night, but their superb performance allowed Hazard and Pedro to roam free and stay in close proximity to Costa, which is what has been the cause of our much improved attack in recent games.

The fact Matic set up a goal and Kante scored one shows they had at least some impact going forward too!

But nah seriously I'd give it Kante first goal for us, and he's just brilliant what more can I say 

I went for Pedro in the end, although it was an excellent team performance; there are probably 9 players who would have been perfectly worthy votes.

Pedro was magnificent in the first half - he was first to every ball, his decision-making was fantastic, and of course his determination and composure led to us scoring the opener after 30 seconds which set the terms of the match and allowed us to relax somewhat. He was less of a constant danger in the second half (and he was probably the right choice to be subbed off) but I am very happy that he has managed to recover from some indifferent early season form (he's currently bottom of the ratings table) with such a top performance. He is one who has benefitted from our change in formation - he is definitely a more natural fit in a front three than he is as a wide man in a 4-2-3-1. Keep it up lad!

Also, after his diatribe about tall players last season, I did thoroughly enjoy the fact that Pedro, Kanté and Hazard (average height around 4'9) all managed to score against José's Man Utd side.

I went for Cahill. Questionable I know but he's turned it around in the last 3 games and put in some great tackles today. But more than that he seemed like a captain and I got a sense of him leading the team. Plus that goal was the one that broke their spirit.

could so easily choose Haz, Moses, Tibo, Kante..... Tibo, like Cahill, looks like a man transformed in the last 3 games. Good game from Pedro who I've been critical of and Matic. 

Hard to see Oscar and Ivan getting a look in. Any coincidence that Ivan finally getting dropped coincides with us looking proper again???
